XPERT ALERT® RF ALARM SYSTEM
Wireless Technology Connecting an Outdoor Control Panel to an Indoor Alarm
System Overview
The Xpert Alert® RF alarm system helps protect your home from potentially costly damage due to flooding, pump failure, and sewage backup.
The RF system includes three main components: (A) the Xpert Alert® alarm, (B) an RF receiver module that attaches to the indoor alarm, and (C) an RF panel module installed into the outdoor control panel.
The RF receiver and RF panel modules wirelessly connect the outdoor control panel with an indoor alarm. When the control panel detects an alarm condition, it activates the RF panel module through its auxiliary alarm contacts, sending a radio signal to the RF receiver module to activate the indoor alarm, thereby alerting the user.
This wireless design makes it an attractive and easy-to-install system, ideal for residential applications such as lift pump chambers, holding tanks, sewage systems, agricultural settings, and other water management applications.
The RF panel module features a compact design that fits conveniently into most control panel enclosures and includes a wiring harness for quick and easy installation. For control panel enclosures with limited space, it is also available in a NEMA 4X watertight configuration.
The Xpert Alert® alarm includes two sensor inputs: one is utilized for the RF receiver module, and the second is available for monitoring a liquid level condition (refer to the Xpert Alert® alarm catalog page for complete alarm specifications).
Standard Features
- LoRa radio technology, providing a long-range, low-power wireless platform.
- Communication range of up to 200 ft. (above-grade installations can exceed 200 ft.).
- LED indicators for signal strength (green) and alarm status (amber).

- NEMA 4X configurations are available for both standard and WiFi models.
WiFi Features
- The WiFi model integrates the Xpert Alert® WiFi alarm, RF receiver module, and RF panel model.
- Provides 24/7 notification via 2 emails and 2 SMS text messages to a smart device for potential conditions such as alarms, power loss, power restoration, low temperature, low battery, and alarm offline status.
System Components and Diagram
The system diagram illustrates the connection between the outdoor control panel and the indoor alarm.
System Overview: The diagram shows an indoor alarm unit. Connected to it is an 'ALARM/RECEIVER MODULE' (labeled A). Separately, a 'PANEL MODULE' (labeled C) with an included wire harness is depicted, designed for installation into an outdoor control panel. The panel module is shown mounted at a minimum height of 3 feet above ground.
Certifications: The product is noted with U.S. Patent No. D874,960, and certifications from CULUS LISTED and SP (LR54245).
