How to use IRC Tramp

  1. Connect the IRC Tramp port to the FC's free UART-TX. A diagram shows the connection between the FC (F722) and the VTX, indicating the UART-TX port on the FC connected to the IRC Tramp port on the VTX, with other connections including GND, 5V OUT, IRC, VIDEO, and DC 7-36V.
  2. Open BetaFlight, enter the Ports tab. Under peripherals, next to the UART-TX which is connected to the IRC port of the VTX, select IRC Tramp and save the settings. A screenshot shows the BetaFlight Peripherals configuration window with VTX (IRC Tramp) selected for a UART-TX port.
  3. Enter the Configuration tab, turn the OSD on under Other Features, and save the settings. A table shows 'Other Features' with options for AIRMODE, OSD, and DYNAMIC_FILTER, with OSD set to 'On Screen Display'.
  4. Enter the Video Transmitter tab. Load from file and save the settings. The file can be downloaded from the GEPRC website. An image shows a 'Load from file' button and a file icon labeled 'Table.json'.
  5. Turn on the remote control. With THR middle, YAW left, and PITCH up, enter the OSD menu. The PITCH stick moves the cursor up and down, and the ELE stick moves to the next item. Finally, save and exit. Diagrams illustrate 'Mode-2' and 'Mode-1' control schemes.
