Assembly Steps

The following steps outline the assembly process for the RÅGRUND shelf unit. Ensure all parts are present before beginning.

1. Step 1: Prepare the Frame

   Identify the main frame components. Insert wooden dowels into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels. Ensure a snug fit.

2. Step 2: Attach First Shelf

   Align the first shelf with the dowels on the side panels. Secure the shelf using the provided screws (130608) and the Allen key (100006). Use two screws per side.

3. Step 3: Add Middle Shelves

   Attach the remaining middle shelves to the frame. For each shelf, use six screws (130608) to secure it to the side panels.

4. Step 4: Attach Top and Bottom Shelves

   Secure the top and bottom shelves to the frame using eight screws (130608) for each.

5. Step 5: Connect Units (if applicable)

   If assembling multiple units, connect them using the provided connecting screws (130608). Ensure the units are aligned correctly before fastening.

6. Step 6: Final Assembly

   Connect the two main sections of the shelf unit using two screws (130608) on each side.

7. Step 7: Secure to Wall

   Crucial Safety Step: To prevent tipover, the unit MUST be secured to the wall using the provided anti-tip hardware (128481). Follow the detailed instructions for wall mounting, ensuring the hardware is appropriate for your wall type. 8. Step 8: Final Check

   Ensure all screws are tightened and the unit is stable. The anti-tip device should be securely fastened to both the unit and the wall.
