Congratulations on your purchase of this Fenton product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the unit to benefit fully from all features.
Important Safety Precautions
- Read the manual before using the unit. Follow instructions to avoid invalidating the warranty.
- Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician.
- Keep the manual for future reference.
- Ask advice from a specialist before using the unit. A slight smell may occur on first use, which is normal and will disappear.
- The unit contains voltage-carrying parts. Do NOT open the housing.
- Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the unit, as this may cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Do not place the unit near heat sources like radiators, on vibrating surfaces, or cover ventilation holes.
- The unit is not suitable for continuous use.
- Be careful with the mains lead; a faulty or damaged lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- When unplugging, always pull the plug, never the lead.
- Do not plug or unplug with wet hands.
- If the plug or mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
- If the unit is damaged and internal parts are visible, do NOT plug it in or switch it on. Contact your dealer.
- Do NOT connect the unit to a rheostat or dimmer.
- To avoid fire and shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain and moisture.
- All repairs should be carried out by a qualified technician only.
- Connect the unit to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
- Unplug the unit during thunderstorms or if it will not be used for a longer period. Rule: Unplug when not in use.
- If the unit has not been used for a long time, condensation may occur. Let it reach room temperature before switching on. Never use in humid rooms or outdoors.
- Follow applicable guidelines and instructions to prevent accidents in companies.
- Do not repeatedly switch the unit on and off, as this shortens its lifespan.
- Keep the unit out of the reach of children. Do not leave it unattended.
- Do not use cleaning sprays on switches, as residues can cause dust and grease buildup. Seek specialist advice for malfunctions.
- Do not force the controls.
- The unit contains a speaker that can cause a magnetic field. Keep it at least 60cm away from computers or TVs.
- If the product has a built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery, recharge it every 3 months if not used for a long period to prevent permanent damage.
- If the battery is damaged, replace it with one of the same specifications and dispose of it environmentally.
- If the unit has fallen, have it checked by a qualified technician before switching it on again.
- Do not use chemicals to clean the unit; they can damage the finish. Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
- Only use original spares for repairs to avoid serious damage and/or dangerous radiation.
- Switch the unit off before unplugging it from the mains or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables before moving the unit.
- Ensure the mains lead cannot be damaged by foot traffic. Check the mains lead for damage and faults before every use.
- The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if your power outlet matches. If traveling, ensure the country's mains voltage is suitable.
- Keep the original packing material for safe transport.
- [Warning Symbol]: Indicates high voltage present inside the housing, capable of causing electric shock.
- [Information Symbol]: Indicates important instructions in the manual that should be read and adhered to.
- The unit is CE certified. Modifications are prohibited and will invalidate the CE certificate and guarantee.
- NOTE: For normal operation, use in rooms with temperatures between 5°C/41°F and 35°C/95°F.
- Electric products must not be disposed of with household waste. Take them to a recycling center. Consult local authorities or your dealer. Specifications are typical and may vary slightly between units. Specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
- Do not attempt self-repair; this invalidates the warranty. Do not modify the unit; this also invalidates the warranty. The warranty is void for accidents or damages caused by improper use or disregard of warnings. Fenton is not responsible for personal injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow safety recommendations and warnings.
Unpacking Instructions
CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check contents to ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the package shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be returned, it is important that it is returned in the original factory box and packaging. If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuations (e.g., after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. Arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Power Supply
The label on the back/underside of the product indicates the mains voltage. Check that the mains voltage corresponds. Any other voltage can cause irreparable damage. The unit must be connected directly to the mains voltage; no dimmer or adjustable power supply may be used.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Ensure the device has appropriate electrical grounding to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
Controls and Connections
- Power: Press this switch to turn the device on/off.
- Aux IN: 3.5mm auxiliary line input jack.
- TF: Slot to insert Micro SD card.
- USB: Slot to insert USB drive.
- Bass: Rotate knob to adjust bass level.
- Treble: Rotate knob to adjust treble level.
- Num pad:
- In MP3 Mode: Press the number of the song you want to listen to (5+ skips 5 numbers).
- In FM Mode: Press the number of the preset channel you want to listen to.
- Press and hold buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 5+ to select a sound effect (Kiss/Laugh/Whistle/Yell/Opening/Alarm).
- Volume: Rotate knob to increase/decrease volume.
- DC 5V: Connector for inserting the supplied power adapter to charge the battery or power the device from the mains.
- MIC IN: 6.3mm microphone jack.
- Echo: Rotate knob to adjust the echo level.
- Mic Vol: Rotate knob to adjust the microphone level.
- Mode: Press to change between modes (FM/BT/AUX-IN). Press and hold to turn the party light on/off.
- Rec: Press to enable recording function.
- Rep/Mic prio: Press to repeat track in MP3 mode. Press and hold to enable microphone priority function.
- I: Press for previous track (MP3) or previous preset (FM).
- II/Link: Press to play or pause in BT/USB/TF mode. Press and hold for Auto Scan and Preset available frequencies in FM mode. Press and hold to initiate stereo pair (link) function (in BT mode).
- I: Press for next track (BT/USB/TF) or next preset (FM).
Remote Control
- Power: Press to turn the unit on/off.
- MODE: Press to change modes (FM/BT/AUX-IN). Press and hold to turn the light off.
- Mute: Press to mute/unmute volume.
- II: Press for Play/Pause in MP3 mode. Press for scan in FM mode.
- I: Press for previous track in MP3 mode. Press for previous preset in FM mode.
- I: Press for next track in MP3 mode. Press for next preset in FM mode.
- EQ: Press to change equalizer presets.
- VOL-/+: Press to increase/decrease volume.
- RPT (Repeat): Press to repeat one track or all tracks.
- USB/SD: Switch between USB/SD.
- Num pad: Number keypad selection.
Wired Microphone Operation
Insert the 6.3mm jack of the microphone cable into the microphone input. Switch on the microphone by setting the power switch to "on".
Microphone Priority
Press and hold the [MIC PRIO] button to enable or disable microphone priority; the music will automatically turn down when you speak through the microphone.
Link/Stereo (TWS) Pairing Function
When you have two "Track510" speaker systems, you can link them for stereo sound. Both portable systems will emit the same signal from the audio streaming function. To set up stereo pairing:
- Turn on both "Track510" speaker systems.
- Change the operating mode to BT streaming on both systems.
- Press and hold the [II/LINK] button on both speakers to pair.
- Press and hold the [II/LINK] button to disconnect.
The optimal connection distance is about 5 meters.
BT Connection
- Activate BT on your device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.).
- Refer to your device's operating instructions.
- Press the [Mode] button and activate the BT function.
- Select "Track510" on your BT device and pair.
Attention: BT distance is approx. 10 meters without any barrier.
AUX IN
AUX IN mode plays audio from an external source like MP3 players. To avoid sudden loud volume, turn down the volume on both this device and the source device (if adjustable).
To enter AUX IN mode, press the [Mode] button. Adjust the volume as needed.
FM
Press the [Mode] button to listen to FM Radio. The unit starts playing when it finds a station. To search for another station:
- Press the [II] button to scan.
- Press the [I] button to search for the previous channel.
- Press the [I] button to search for the next channel.
USB/MICRO-SD(TF)/U DISK
To play MP3 music, insert the USB stick/TF card or U disk into the correct slot. The device will start playing.
- Press [I] or [I◄◄] for next/previous track.
- Press [II] to start/resume or pause play.
Note:
- This device only supports FAT32 file system for storage devices.
- This device can play MP3, WMA, APE, and FLAC format files.
