3. Place the equipment on a flat and stable surface to prevent tipping over, as this may cause the machine to crack or become unusable.
4. The device should be placed as close as possible to an accessible wall outlet.
5. Do not disassemble, modify or repair the device on your own to avoid electric shock, injury or damage to the machine.
6. When emptying the basket, or if not using the device for a period, ensure the device is turned off and unplug the power plug to prevent fire or electric shock.

8. Do not use the device in high temperature, high humidity, or heavily dusty environments to prevent fire, electric shock, or machine malfunction.

• Please do not allow children to use the machine. There are sharp blades inside the machine, so exercise caution when using it.

• Please do not let hair near the shredder's feed opening. If your hair is accidentally sucked in, use the "reverse function" to remove the danger.
• Please keep your clothing or small items away from the feed opening of the paper shredder, such as ties, necklaces, sleeves, jewelry, etc.
• Please do not use inflammable liquids, gases, water, and cleaners to clean the machine. To avoid fire accident.
• Please kindly do not touch the sharp edges to avoid injury.
• This equipment is not intended for use by children. Avoid touching the media feed opening with hands, clothing, or hair. Unplug this equipment when not in use for an extended period. Hazardous moving parts are in this equipment; keep body parts away from moving parts.
• It cannot shred over 6 sheets in one time.
• One folded sheet of paper equates to 2 sheets of paper.
• Heavier paper, humidity, or other than rated voltage may reduce capacity.
• 85% Maximum sheets per pass to avoid jams.

For safety reasons, the shredder will operate only if the shredder head is in the correct position and used with the supplied basket.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

*ONE FOLDED SHEET OF PAPER EQUATES TO 2 SHEETS OF PAPER

Heavier paper, humidity or other than rated voltage may reduce shredding capacity.

WARNING!

1. Bin Full: The wastebasket will become full around 15-16 shredding passes (6 sheets per pass). Empty the wastebasket when the window is filled to prevent paper jams. Never let the wastebasket become full, as this will lead to shredded materials being pulled back into the shredder and cause jams.
2. No Trash bag: If using a plastic bag to line the wastebasket, please remove it. This may cause the shredder not to operate properly.

Do not shred:

• Large paper clips, CDs/DVDs
• Window envelopes, insulated envelopes or unopen junk mails
• Adhesive materials
• Newspaper
• Continuous computer paper
• Cardboard
• Credit card made by metal
• Laminated document and magazines

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. To Start Shredding: Plug in and move the "control panel" from OFF to AUTO position. The "Power Light" will turn green. Feed papers, clips, staples, or credit cards into the feed opening. Continuous operation is around 3 minutes.
2. To Stop Shredding: When finished shredding or no longer need to use it, please set the control panel to OFF.
3. Jam: Please move the "control panel" from "Auto" to "REV" position and pull out the jammed paper.
4. Clearing Severe Jams: Move the "control panel" from "REV" to FWD position for 3-5 seconds. Repeat this operation 2-3 times if there is a very serious jam.
5. Overheat: If the "Power Light" is green and the "Indicator Light" is red, the unit needs to cool down. Cool down around 40 minutes.
6. Over Capacity: If shredding more than the maximum capacity (6 sheets), please remove the excess papers.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE

Follow these steps to maintain your shredder using a lubricant pack:

1. Plug in and move the "control panel" from OFF to AUTO position. The "Power Light" shows a green light. Feed one shredder lubricant pack into the feed opening.
2. Move the "control panel" from Auto to "REV" position for 2-3 seconds, staying and do not pull out the shredder lubricant pack.
3. Move the "control panel" from REV to AUTO position to shred the shredder lubricant pack for 3-5 seconds. Repeat the operation for 2-3 times until the shredder lubricant pack is fully shredded.
4. When finished shredding or no longer need to use it, please set to OFF.

CAUTION: Only use professional shredder lubricant packs, such as Bonsaii shredder Lubricant 24-Pack (LS24) / 12-Pack (LS12). Do not use cleaners, flammable liquids, gases, oil, etc.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty Period: Machines are covered by a 1-year limited warranty, and cutters are warranted for 1 year from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty is not transferable.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Return the item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund if there is a manufacturing defect. Returns are free and easy for manufacturing defects. Otherwise, the customer covers shipping fees. Products on sale are also returnable.

Returns After 30 Days: Orders after 30 days may be subject to a 20% restocking fee and shipping/handling charges. Purchases from Bonsaii are non-refundable after 60 days.

Damaged Product Notification: If you receive a damaged product, notify Bonsaii within 48 hours of delivery. Bonsaii will investigate the claim and notify the freight company. Retain all packaging for inspection. Replacements will be processed as soon as possible.

Defective or Damaged Product Resolution: Contact Bonsaii Customer Support Team and Quality Assurance team via email at customer-care@bonsaii.com with your order number and issue details. Providing a short video or pictures of the defects may be required. A brand new replacement will be sent if the product is confirmed defective on arrival. If the product is determined not to be defective, Bonsaii will provide instructions for correct usage.
