This document provides instructions for the Bonsaii C149-C 18-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper Shredder. It covers important safety information, operating procedures, product maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty details.
The Bonsaii C149-C is a cross-cut paper shredder designed for efficient and secure document destruction.

Important Safety Information
⚠️ IMPORTANT! Please read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference.
- Please place the machine on a flat and stable surface and be careful not to tip it over.
- The device should be set up as close as possible to an easily accessible wall socket.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the machine on your own to avoid electric shock, injury, or accidental injury.
- When emptying the basket, moving the machine, or when not in use for a period, turn the machine to the OFF status and unplug it to avoid fire or electric shock.
- Do not use inflammable liquids, gases, water, or cleaner to clean the machine to avoid fire or electric shock.
- Do not use the machine in environments with very high temperature, very high humidity, or heavy dust to avoid fire, electric shock, or machine malfunction.
- Do not put adhesive tape, carbon paper, fabric, plastic film, etc., into the machine for shredding to avoid damaging the machine.
- Do not damage or process the power cables, or place heavy objects on them to avoid fire, injury, or electric shock.
- If abnormal conditions such as smoke or odor occur, disconnect the power and stop using it immediately to avoid fire or electric shock.
- Do not use if the shredder or the power cable is damaged or defective to avoid fire or electric shock.

WARNING
- Please keep children and pets away from the machine. There are sharp blades inside.
- Keep your hands away from the sharp blades and the feeding opening of the paper shredder.
- Keep your hair away from the feeding opening of the paper shredder. If your hair is accidentally sucked in, use the [Reverse Function] to get rid of the danger.
- Keep your clothing or small items (like ties, necklaces, sleeves, jewelry) away from the feeding opening of the paper shredder.
- Do not touch the sharp edges to avoid injury.
- This equipment is not intended for use by children. Avoid touching the media feed opening with hands, clothing, or hair.
- Unplug this equipment when not in use for an extended period. Keep body parts away from moving parts.
- The machine cannot shred over 18 sheets in one time.
Know Your Shredder

For safety reasons, the shredder will operate only if the shredder head is in the correct position and used with the supplied basket.

Operating Instructions
- Plug in and press the power switch [Power ON] ("-").
- Move the "control panel" from "Blank" to "Auto" position. The power light will be red. Feed papers, credit cards, clips, or staples to shred. Continuous operation is around 30 minutes.
- When finished shredding, set the control panel to the "Blank" position and turn off the power switch [Power OFF] ("O").
- Jam: Please move the "control panel" to the "REV" position and pull out the jammed paper.
- For a very serious jam, move the "control panel" from "Auto" to "REV" position for 3-5 seconds. Repeat this operation around 2-3 times if necessary.
- Overheat: The overheat indicator light will be red, and the power light will be red. Wait for the machine to cool down (around 20 minutes).
- Overload: The overload indicator light will be red with flashing, and the power light will be red. Take out excess papers.
Product Maintenance
- Plug in and press the power switch [Power ON] ("-").
- Move the "control panel" from "Blank" to "Auto" position. The power light will be red. Feed one shredder lubricant pack to shred.
- Move the "control panel" from "Auto" to "Reverse" for 2-3 seconds (do not pull out the lubricant pack).
- Move the "control panel" from "REV" to "AUTO" to shred the lubricant pack for 3-5 seconds, and repeat the actions 2-3 times until the lubricant pack is fully shredded.
- When finished shredding, set the control panel to the "Blank" position and turn off the power switch [Power OFF] ("O").
CAUTION: Only use professional shredder lubricant to maintain the shredder, such as Bonsaii shredder Lubricant 24-Pack/12-Pack. Do not use cleaners, inflammable liquids, or gases.
