Features

Carbon Fiber Shaft: Custom woven 12mm carbon fiber with custom elastomer grip. Thin, lightweight, super-strong, and rigid.
Capsule Light: MicroUSB rechargeable unit with super bright multicolor LEDs and a built-in high-power Li-ion battery. Refer to the accompanying capsule light insert for detailed instructions.
Composite Connector: 3D-printed connectors that screw into the carbon fiber shaft for a firm and secure connection.
Flowcap: Thick, soft, durable silicone end cap with a rigid inner structure that snaps securely onto tubes and releases with a firm twist. The recessed end-button operates the light.
String + Knob Handle: Silky, comfortable, durable string with a swivelled knob handle.
Tubes: Transparent, virtually bulletproof polycarbonate tubes that connect to flowcaps via snap-button holes.

Operating Instructions

Removing/Attaching Flowcaps from Tubes:

To detach: Twist firmly to release the buttons and pull.
To install: Place the cap over the tube, push, and twist until the snap-buttons click into the holes.
Tip: If detaching is difficult, ensure your grip is on the top end of the flowcap. Pressing lower down may engage the internal buttons against the tube.

Attaching Capsule Lights to Flowcaps:

Insert the capsule into the flowcap with the button side in.
Twist and push until it settles. Ensure the seams of the capsule align with the buttons inside the cap for proper fitting into the tube.
Note: The flowcap connects firmly to the tube. Grip the tube connected to the cap, not the carbon fiber shaft, when twisting to remove.

Always check your connections before use.

Troubleshooting

My flowcap won't release from the tube.

Ensure you are gripping the top end of your flowcap when removing it. Gripping lower down can cause the silicone to press against the tube, increasing resistance.

My capsule lights are falling out of the flowcap.

When installing capsule lights, twist until you feel the light settle into place. A slight wiggle (left and right) indicates it is properly seated.

My wand is always wonky!

Wand-wonk is often caused by bumping the string, yourself, or other objects. To keep the wand vertical, gently bring it back upright with your freehand and set it down steadily.

Tips

Do not use glowsticks or WD-40 with tubing. Polycarbonate can degrade when exposed to certain esters found in chemical glowsticks, mineral spirits, and WD-40, leading to brittleness and shattering.
Ensure all caps are fully secured before use by checking that the buttons are clicked into the tubing holes.
Clean your grip: Grip can wear with use and is affected by skin oils. To maintain grip longevity, clean it after heavy use and before storage. Use rubbing alcohol and a cloth, or a cloth with warm soapy water. Rinse with clean water and air-dry. Do not use heat. Flowcap cleaning: Use soap and warm water, or machine wash (air-dry, no heat).

Flowtoys products are designed for a lifetime of use. While indestructible is not guaranteed, Flowtoys offers a lifetime warranty to help you find your flow. If a Flowtoys product breaks due to intended use, free replacements are offered for defective or non-working parts. Additionally, a 50% credit is available for products in any condition at any time.
