Thank you for purchasing the HRB 3038 true wireless earbuds. To maximize your listening experience, please read the following instructions.
Parts Identification
The earbuds and charging case feature the following components:
- 1. LED indicator (on earbud)
- 2. Multi-function button (MFB) (on earbud)
- 3. Microphone (on earbud)
- 4. Charging case LEDs (indicate battery level)
- 5. USB-C port (on charging case)

Operating Instructions
Initial Setup
Prior to first use, remove the plastic battery isolator tab located between the earbuds and the charging case.
Power Control
- Power ON: Remove the earbuds from the charging case. Press and hold the right MFB button for 1 second.
- Power OFF: Place earbuds back in the charging case or press and hold both MFB buttons for 5 seconds.
Music and Call Controls
- Play/Pause: Double press either MFB button.
- Next song: Press and hold the right MFB button for 1 second.
- Previous song: Press and hold the left MFB button for 1 second.
- Answer a call: Double press either MFB button.
- End a call: Double press either MFB button.
- Voice Assistant: Press and hold the left MFB button for 1 second.
- Reject an incoming call: Press and hold either MFB button for 3 seconds.
Note: Function compatibility may vary among different smartphones or devices. Not all functions are available on all devices.
Charging
Charging the Case
Use the included USB-C charging cable to fully charge the case before first use. Charging takes approximately 2 hours.
Charging Case LED Indicators:
- 0-25% Power: 1 LED flashing.
- 25%-50% Power: 1 LED ON and 1 LED flashing.
- 50%-75% Power: 2 LEDs ON and 1 LED flashing.
- 75%-100% Power: 4 LEDs ON (fully charged).
Charging the Earbuds
Place both earbuds in the charging case. They will automatically begin charging, indicated by a red LED on each earbud turning ON. The LED turns OFF when fully charged. Earbud charging takes approximately 1.5 hours. The charging case provides up to 2.5 additional charges for the earbuds.
Pairing
The earbuds automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode upon first use. The left and right earbuds connect to each other automatically.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Red and blue LEDs will flash, indicating they are powered ON.
- On your Bluetooth device, select "HRB 3038" from the device list to pair.
- Once successfully paired, the blue LED on both earbuds will flash after 5 seconds.
- After initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically turn ON and connect to your device when removed from the case, provided both earbuds and your device's Bluetooth are ON and within range.
- If the earbuds do not connect to a Bluetooth device within 5 minutes, they will automatically turn OFF.
Using a Single Earbud
If both earbuds are paired and connected to your device, you can place one earbud back into the charging case. The earbud remaining in your ear will continue to play audio. To use a single earbud, remove it from the charging case; it will power ON and connect automatically to your Bluetooth device.
Resetting the Earbuds
If the left and right earbuds fail to connect to each other, you may need to reset them and clear their paired memory.
- On your Bluetooth device, remove "HRB 3038" from the device list and turn Bluetooth OFF.
- Take the earbuds out of the charging case. Press and hold the MFB buttons on both earbuds simultaneously until the LEDs shut off (approximately 14 seconds).
- Return the earbuds to the charging case. They will reset and begin charging.
- Turn Bluetooth ON on your device and select "HRB 3038" to re-pair.
Operation Details
- Music Playback: While music is playing, double-press either MFB button to pause; press again to resume.
- Track Control: Press and hold the right MFB for 1 second for the next song. Press and hold the left MFB for 1 second for the previous song.
- Call Handling: Music will pause and earbuds will ring for incoming calls. Double-press either MFB button to answer. Press and hold either MFB button for 2 seconds to reject the call. Double-press either MFB button to end an active call.
- Disconnecting: To disconnect from your device while wearing both earbuds and not actively listening or on a call, go to your device's Bluetooth settings, select "HRB 3038", and disconnect. The earbuds can also be turned OFF by pressing and holding either MFB button for approximately 5 seconds. To turn them ON again, press and hold both MFB buttons for approximately 3 seconds.
Warnings
- Supervise children when using this equipment. This product is not a toy.
- Listening at high volume levels for extended periods may damage your hearing.
- Consult your physician before use if you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical devices.
- Switching on audio systems or plugging in earbuds may cause clicks that could affect hearing at high volumes. Always set volume to minimum before switching sources or plugging in earbuds.
- DO NOT use earbuds while driving or cycling.
- The small parts included with this product can be a choking hazard. Keep away from children under 3 years of age.
- If not used for long periods, charge earbuds and case at least every 3 months.
- Dispose of rechargeable batteries properly. DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire to prevent explosion.
Troubleshooting
No Sound
- Check the volume on your audio device to ensure it is outputting sound.
- Refer to the "Resetting the Earbuds" section to clear paired memory.
Earbuds Not Fitting Comfortably
- Switch earbud tips to a different size to find the appropriate fit.
- Ensure the left and right earbuds are in the correct ears.
- Sound quality can sometimes be improved by moving to a larger eartip size, provided the fit remains comfortable.
Connection Problems
- Press and hold both MFB buttons for approximately 14 seconds to reset both earbuds.
Charging Case LED Does Not Turn ON When Earbuds Are Returned
- Remove the earbuds from the case and return them.
- Ensure the charging case has battery power.
Earbud Charging LED Does Not Turn ON (Red)
- Remove the earbuds from the case and return them. The red charging LED should then turn ON.
Cleaning
Your earbuds may require periodic cleaning. Remove the tips from the earbuds and wash them with mild detergent and water. Ensure the tips are dry before reattaching them to the earbuds.
