IMPORTANT INFORMATION - READ FIRST

Battery

The battery installed in the watch at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If you notice signs of insufficient power (dim display), replace the battery at the nearest authorized CASIO service center or CASIO dealer.

Water Resistance

The following is prohibited for all categories of watches:

If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.

Watches are classified by ratings (from I to V) according to their degree of water resistance. Check your watch's rating using the table below to determine its correct usage.

RatingCase MarkingSplashes, Rain, etc.Swimming, Car Washing, etc.Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, etc.Deep Diving
I-NoNoNoNo
IIWATER RESISTANTYesNoNoNo
III50 M WATER RESISTANTYesYesNoNo
IV100 M WATER RESISTANTYesYesYesNo
V200 M WATER RESISTANT
300 M WATER RESISTANT
YesYesYesYes

Notes:

II WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.

III Water resistance to 5 Bar (50 meters) means the watch can withstand water pressure of the specified level and can be used while showering and for brief swimming.

IV Water resistance to 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used for regular swimming and snorkeling.

V Water resistance to 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for diving with scuba gear (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixture).

Watch Care

Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.

Although the watch is designed for active daily use, wear it carefully and avoid drops.

Do not fasten the strap too tightly. You should be able to fit a finger between your wrist and the strap.

To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances (e.g., gasoline, solvents, aerosol cleaning agents, etc.).

When not using your watch, store it in a dry place.

Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's polish.

Some watch models feature silk-screened graphics on the strap. Be careful when cleaning such straps to avoid damaging the designs.

For watches with plastic straps...

You may find a whitish powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.

Exposure of the plastic strap to sweat or moisture, as well as storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for the plastic strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth at the first opportunity.

For watches with fluorescent cases and straps...

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.

Prolonged contact with moisture can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible.

Prolonged contact with any other damp surface can cause the fluorescent color to discolor. Check if moisture has been removed from the fluorescent surface and avoid contact with other surfaces.

Strong friction of a surface with applied fluorescent paint against another surface may lead to the transfer of fluorescent paint to that surface.

When using the product in conditions of sharp temperature changes, slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass. This phenomenon is due to the laws of physics and is not a defect.

CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the use of this watch and does not accept any claims from third parties.
