ALLPOWERS Portable Power Station
Model: AP-SS-007
S700 V3.0
Welcome
Congratulations on your solar generator purchase. This plug-and-play backup power integrates solar regulating, storable energy system, and cloud-based parental controls (via Bluetooth app for monitoring solar charging). With 606 watt-hours of power, it can keep your laptops, lights, and AC/DC appliances running longer. Welcome to the solar life.
Precautions Before Operating
- Ensure the generator's power level is not too low before use. It can charge and discharge simultaneously, but solar charging is weather-dependent.
- Lion-battery cycle life is extended with proper handling and usage. Use at room temperature: -10°C to +40°C (14°F to 104°F). Avoid damp environments and do not store outdoors.
- Ensure the rated running power of your device is ≤ 700W, and the peak power is < 1400W. Some appliances have instantaneous power needs up to 3 times their rated running power.
- The unit may become warmer during charging/discharging. Use in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep away from naked flames, sparks, or conductive materials.
- AC source voltage and frequency vary by country (e.g., CN 220V, JP 100V, US 120V, UK&EU 230V, AU 240V). Follow local regulations.

Charging Your Solar Generator
The generator can be charged via several methods:
- Charging from Wall Socket: Use the included AC adapter. Alternatively, use a PD charger via the USB-C port (supports 2-Way PD charging up to 100W). Using non-standard adapters may shorten battery life.
- Charging from your Car: Connect via the 12V car cigarette lighter socket (car charging cable not included). Recommended only while driving, especially for 12V/24V batteries. Avoid if the car is often stationary, as it can drain the car battery. Ensure the car battery is above 12.7V before charging.
- By Solar Energy (MPPT Charging 200W): Connect ALLPOWERS foldable solar chargers or other 18V solar modules (up to 200W) using the appropriate MC4/DC5525 to Anderson cable.
- Charged by PD Adapter: Use a PD adapter with a USB-C port for charging up to 100W.
Multiple Charging Methods: The DC port, USB-C port, and Anderson port can be used simultaneously. For example, DC + USB-C can input up to 200W, while Anderson + USB-C can input up to 300W.

Factors Affecting Solar Charging Performance
Solar charging efficiency depends on several factors:
- Trip: Turning off a connected laptop can shorten charging time.
- Ideal Time of Day: Panels operate most efficiently around mid-day with direct sunlight.
- Sunlight and Angle: Brighter sun and clearer skies improve performance. A south-facing panel angled at 30-60 degrees from horizontal is optimal.
- Avoid Shade and Dirt: Ensure panels are free from shade, as even minor shading reduces output. Keep panels clean, as dirt accumulation can hinder performance.
Time of Year: Cold temperatures do not significantly affect solar panel performance; it relies on light, not heat.
Using Your Solar Generator to Power Devices
The generator provides various output ports:
- 1 x USB-C: For smartphones and mini laptops supporting PD fast charging. Supports 100W PD input/output.
- 3 x USB-A: For smartphones, portable power banks, small USB fans, and other USB-powered devices.
- 2 x DC5525 (12V 5A): For LED lights or other devices requiring up to 12V. Each port supports a maximum output of 12V 5A.
- 2 x AC Out: For AC appliances and laptops. Ensure the device's rated running power is ≤ 700W and surge power is < 1400W. AC outlets have short-circuit protection but should be protected from moisture.
- Car Socket (12V): For car refrigerators, 12V devices, etc. It has short-circuit protection and should be covered with the rubber plug when not in use.
Operation and Safety
- Check Compatibility: Verify the voltage and wattage requirements of your devices. If overloaded, the AC output (except DC ports) will be disabled by the system's control circuit. Reconnect a lower-power device and restart after a 60-second interval.
- Ensure Master is Switched On: All USB, AC, and wireless charging functions are activated by the master power button. The LCD displays total output watts. The 12V DC car port is always active.
- Turn Off Master to Stop Outputting: Press the master button again to turn off outputting and disconnect loads. For AC modes, press and hold for 3 seconds to exit.
IMPORTANT!
- To enable AC outputs, ensure the battery level is at least 10%. For DC outputs, ensure it's at least 5%. This helps prolong battery life.
- When powered off, the control circuit enters standby mode, causing a slight battery drop over time.
- To ensure power is available when needed, exit all modes and turn off the LCD after each use.
Reference Running Time for Common Appliances
Running times vary based on appliance wattage:
Appliance Wattage | DC Power Runtime | AC Power Runtime |
---|---|---|
5W | 77 hours | 35 hours |
10W | 44 hours | 24.5 hours |
30W | N/A | 12 hours |
40W | 12 hours | 9.5 hours |
50W | N/A | 8.5 hours |
60W | 8 hours | 7 hours |
120W | N/A | 4 hours |
Storage and Downtime Maintenance
- It is recommended to fully charge the unit at least once every 90 days to maintain optimal performance, reliability, and longevity.
- When outputting is finished, remember to turn off the master button to save energy.
- Battery capacity can vary slightly due to environmental factors like cold weather or heat. Use the unit at room temperature (-10°C to 40°C). Avoid outdoor or damp storage.
- For use in sub-zero conditions, store the unit in an insulated cooler and connect to a power source (like solar panels). Natural heat generation will help maintain battery capacity.
- Storing the battery at very low charge levels (0-5%) can reduce its lifespan. It is recommended to always keep at least 20% charge.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Can I use the generator while it is recharging? Yes, the generator can output power while charging.
- How often should the generator be recharged when not in use? We recommend recharging it via a wall outlet at least once every 3 months.
- What size solar panel (in watts) is best for charging this unit? A 100-200W solar panel is recommended, providing charging in approximately 3-4 hours. Solar results can be affected by external factors.
- Can I take this device on an airplane? No, this product must be shipped by freight or trucking to your destination and cannot be shipped by civil flight.
- How do I know if my devices will work with this unit, or if they will be damaged by overload? First, check the total wattage of all your appliances and ensure it does not exceed the 700W ± 15W limit. While USB, USB-C, and DC ports can operate simultaneously, the AC output may be disabled if overloaded. Reconnect a lower-power AC device and restart after a 30-second interval. The DC outputs will not be damaged by overload due to the built-in control module.
Disposal Guide
- If possible, ensure the battery is fully discharged before disposing it in a designated battery recycling bin. Batteries contain potentially hazardous chemicals and must not be disposed of in regular trash. Follow local laws and regulations for battery recycling and disposal.
- If the battery cannot be fully discharged due to a product failure, do not dispose of it directly in a battery recycling box. Contact a professional battery recycling company for proper processing.
- Dispose of over-discharged batteries that cannot be recharged.
