1. Characteristics

The pillow, thanks to its anatomical shape and the ability to adjust the firmness by inflating or deflating, provides high comfort. An efficient pump is included in the set. The pillow is equipped with a non-slip cover with a zipper closure and side handles for easy turning of the patient. Thanks to thermal sealing technology, the pillow is durable and will not unseal. A hidden air valve prevents accidental air release and increases comfort.

2. Application and recommendations

The patient turning pillow is a product that supports safe repositioning of the body for examination or therapy. It supports the care of people with limited mobility, the sick, elderly and disabled. Thanks to its specific design, it perfectly stabilizes the patient's body, enabling rehabilitation and daily functioning. The pillow is dedicated to physiotherapists, massage therapists, nurses, doctors and caregivers of the sick, disabled and elderly. For use in healthcare facilities and at home.

Application:

• To help turn a patient's body without the need for a caregiver to lift.
• Assisting in caring for the sick, elderly, disabled and obese.
• Assisting in transferring to a wheelchair, chair, car, bathroom, etc.
• Eliminating the patient's pain caused by turning to the side or transferring.
• Preventing the formation of bedsores. Assisting with exercise to prevent muscle atrophy caused by prolonged lying in bed.

Do not apply on the bare body. Consult a doctor, physical therapist or physiotherapist before use.

4. Method of use

The method of use involves several steps:

1. Inflate the pillow (pump included).
2. Place the pillow under the knees of the person lying on his/her back so that both support grooves are under the patient's knees.
3. Rotate the pillow placing it in an upright position.
4. Supporting the patient's arm with one hand and holding the pillow handle with the other, turn the person sideways.
5. After performing the necessary care, turn the patient back on his/her back and pull out the pillow.

The pillow has dimensions of 55cm x 41cm x 16cm. It features support grooves and a mesh non-slip sleeve with a handle.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Clean the cushion with a damp cloth moistened with mild cleaning agents. Do not wet the cushion. Wipe it dry after every maintenance. Strong cleaning agents or detergents may damage the product. Do not use abrasives.
• Attention! Do not use heat sources for drying.
• Attention! Do not use whitening agents, fabric softeners and dry cleaning agents for cleaning!

Protective cover cleaning:

• The protective cover can be washed manually or in the washing machine at 40°C using mild detergents. Before cleaning fasten the zip. The protective cover can be dried with a stream of warm air or in a drier at a low temperature.
• Attention! The cushion can be fitted with the protective cover only when the latter has completely dried.
• Do not iron the protective cover!

7. Storage and transport conditions

Device should not be exposed to direct sunlight, water or moisture.

8. Warranty information

All products distributed by the company are under a warranty, the terms of which are described in the warranty card received at the time of purchase. Please, keep in mind that for warranty purposes, the proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) should be retained.
