Assembly Instructions

  1. Lay the Crate (A) bottom side down on the floor.
  2. Unfold the back, door, and side panels and lay them flat.
  3. Lift up one of the side panels and the back panel. Connect the panels using one Long Screw (D) through the hole in the back panel. (Note: Do not fully tighten screws until assembly is complete.)
  4. Lift up the door panel and connect it to the side panel using one Long Screw (D) through the hole in the door panel.
  5. Repeat for the other side panel using two more Long Screws (D).
  6. Place the Top Panel (B) on top of the crate, aligning it with the back, side, and door panels. Secure it with two Long Screws (D) through the door panel and two more through the back panel.
  7. Slide the Metal Tray (C) through the slot under the door panel and secure it in place with the tab.
  8. Tighten all screws using the included Allen Wrench.
  9. If you are not stacking a second crate on top, locate the Short Screws (F) and secure them in the open holes in the top corners of the crate. Set the Connector Plates (G) aside for safekeeping in case you do wish to stack another crate later.

Attach the Wheels

Stack the Crates

  2. Place the Connector Plates (G) on each corner and secure each plate with one Short Screw (F) through the top hole and one Long Screw (D) through the bottom hole.

How to Use the Lock

To lock the door: Push the knob up halfway and slide it all the way to the left. Then, push the knob down so it fits into the groove to the left. Ensure the knob points down toward the floor. [door-lock]

To open the door: Push the knob halfway up from the locked position. Slide the knob all the way to the right and push it down so it fits into the groove at the right side of the latch. [door-unlock]

Crate Training Tips

Introduction

Introduce your pet to their new home. Allow them to explore at their own pace. Avoid forcing them, as you want your pet to view the crate as a positive, safe space. Entice exploration with their favorite toy. ?

Time

Acclimate your pet gradually. Start by keeping them inside the crate for short periods while you are present, talking soothingly. Gradually increase the duration. Eventually, close the door for short periods, increasing the time and offering praise and treats. Positive associations are key. ⏰

Denning

Appeal to your pet's natural denning instinct. Help them associate the crate with a den by making it a safe space where their needs are met. Make it comfortable by placing a towel, bed, or blanket inside. ?

Bathroom

Take your pet out for regular potty breaks, away from their "castle." Reinforce this natural instinct, especially for younger animals who need more frequent breaks. ?

Positive Association

Never use the crate as punishment, as this creates negative associations and reluctance. ?

Professional Help

Consult your veterinarian or trainer for specific crate training questions. ?‍⚕️
