Product Overview
The JL Audio MBT-CRXv3 is a weatherproof controller and receiver designed for seamless audio streaming via Bluetooth® wireless technology. It is built to withstand outdoor conditions, making it suitable for marine and other exposed environments.
Installation Considerations
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of the MBT-CRXv3. Ensure you have the necessary tools and safety equipment. Professional installation is recommended. The product is water-resistant but should not be submerged or exposed to high-pressure water spray. Avoid mounting in areas of extreme heat. Securely mount the product to prevent damage or injury. Before cutting or drilling, check for obstacles behind mounting surfaces. Route all wiring carefully away from moving parts and sharp edges, using grommets and loom for protection.
Pairing Considerations
Multiple devices can be paired with the MBT-CRXv3, but only one streaming device can connect at a time. The MBT-CRXv3 remembers the last connected device and automatically reconnects. If the last connected device is inactive, other paired devices can connect manually, or new devices can be paired. If a connected streaming device goes out of range for more than one minute, the MBT-CRXv3 will automatically disconnect and return to pairing mode. The device will need to be manually reconnected when it comes back into range.
Pairing Your Device
- Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on your streaming device and the MBT-CRXv3 is powered on. The center JL Audio button will flash to indicate pairing mode is active.
- Select "JLA MBT-CRX" from your device's Bluetooth® setup menu.
- Upon successful connection, the JL Audio button will illuminate solid.
