Installation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare and Seal Window

Apply stick adhesive tape around the edge of the window.

Secure the window to the sealed partition on the cargo side using an M8x16mm bolt (on the passenger side). Place rubber washers between the window and the sealed partition. Secure with M6 Nylock Nuts on the cargo side of the sealed partition.

Step 2: Secure Rubber Seal

Secure the rubber seal around the perimeter of the partition.

Step 3: Position Partition

Place the partition in the vehicle with the mounting tags facing towards the rear of the vehicle.

Step 4: Safety Warning

ALWAYS CHECK FOR FUEL LINES ETC BEFORE DRILLING AND ALWAYS USE A DRILL STOP.

Step 5: Base Installation

Secure one end of the 29 Z brackets to the base mounting tags on the Partition using an M10x20mm set screw and an M10 whiz nut.

Mark through the hole of the 29 Z bracket onto the floor of the vehicle with a marker.

Move the brackets out of the way and drill the two marks (use a pilot drill bit first) through the floor. Drill the pilot hole out to 10mm.

Secure the base tags on the Cargo Barrier to the floor using M10x40mm set screws. These screws should go down through the base tags on the Anti-Vapour Partition and through the drilled 10mm holes.

Secure with a mudguard washer on the underneath of the van. For best results, run a bead of silicone around the mudguard washer before fastening.

Step 6: Top Installation

Locate two holes at 850mm centres in the first roof cross member behind the Anti-Vapour Partition. Drill these holes out to 10mm.

Insert an M10 threaded plate on wire through the larger holes in the cross member (towards the centre of the van). The holes may need to be elongated to accept the M10 threaded plate on wire.

Slide the M10 threaded plate on wire inside the cross member until it is sitting directly above the 10mm hole. The wire on the M10 threaded plate may need to be bent slightly to get the desired angle.

Steady the M10 threaded plate on wire by holding it, and secure one end of the 500mm straight brackets into the plate on wire using an M10x20mm set screw.

Either cut off the wire from the M10 threaded plate that is protruding out, or fold it so it sits inside the cross member.

Secure the other end of the 500mm straight bracket to the top tag on the Anti-Vapour Partition using an M10x20mm set screw and an M10 whiz nut.

Step 7: Final Check

CHECK OVER FIXINGS SYSTEMATICALLY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE ALL TIGHT.
