Factory Reset for Alarm.com ADC-CSVR126

This document provides instructions for performing a factory reset on the Alarm.com ADC-CSVR126 video recorder to restore its default settings.

Software Factory Reset

This method utilizes the device's local interface.

Caution: Performing a factory reset will erase all footage and programming from the device.

  • Log into the local interface.
  • Navigate to System, then select Factory Reset.
  • If a password is set, enter it in the Password field. For password recovery information, refer to the guide on password protection.
  • Click Next.
  • After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126.

Physical Factory Reset

This method uses the physical buttons on the device.

Important: Ensure the video device has been powered on for at least 2 minutes before attempting this procedure. A reset may fail if the device is still powering up.

  • Press and hold the up button for 30 seconds, then release.
  • Immediately press and hold the down button for 30 seconds, then release.
  • Wait approximately 3 minutes for the ADC-CSVR126 to beep, indicating it has rebooted and successfully reset.
  • After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126.

The up and down buttons are located on the ADC-CSVR126's control pad.
