Joystick Control & UART Control

Flight Controller Wiring:

Connect the camera to the flight controller. Example using UART3:

RunCam TX200 (or similar connection points) to Flight controller:

• 5-36V input -> Flight Controller 3.5-5.5V input
• GND -> GND
• Video out -> Flight Controller RX
• OSD G/TX -> Flight Controller TX3
• M/RX -> Flight Controller RX3

Betaflight 3.3 or Above Settings:

In Betaflight configurator, navigate to the Ports tab. Configure the selected UART (e.g., UART3) as follows:

UART Control Operation:

Mode-2:

• Connect: [Connect]
• Operation: Press the [ENTER] button.
• Disconnect: [Disconnect]

Mode-1:

• Connect: [Connect]
• Operation: Use [RIGHT], [DOWN], [LEFT], [UP] buttons.
• Disconnect: [Disconnect]

Note: When connected, the flight controller buzzer beeps 3 times. When disconnected, it beeps 2 times. Successful connection allows OSD menu access by long-pressing [UP], switching scenes by [RIGHT], calibrating voltage by [LEFT], and resetting OSD by [DOWN].

OSD Menu

Accessing OSD Menu: Long press the [UP] button for three seconds.

Quick Settings:

• OSD Settings Screen: Long press [UP] for three seconds.
• Gyro Calibration: Long press [LEFT] for three seconds. Ensure the camera PCB is kept horizontal.
• Reset OSD Settings: Long press [DOWN] for six seconds.
• Switch Camera Presets: Long press [RIGHT] for three seconds.

OSD Menu Items:

• CLR: Clears the ID character.
• ALARM: Configures low voltage warning value, automatically judges or allows manual setting.
• PILOT ID: Displays pilot name.
• TIMER: Enables/disables timer display.
• PITCH: Enables/disables pitch indicator.
• SHARP VIEW: Enhances image details, potentially increasing noise.
• WIDESCREEN: Stretches image to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
• SYSTEM: Select signal system (NTSC/PAL).
• EXIT: Exits the OSD menu.

Camera Menu

Accessing Camera Menu: Navigate through OSD menu options.

SETUP MENU:

• PICT ADJUST: Adjusts picture settings.
  • FLIP: Options include OFF, H-FLIP, V-FLIP, HV-FLIP.
  • BRIGHTNESS: Default 128, range 0-255.
  • CONTRAST: Default 138, range 0-255.
  • SHARPNESS: Default 128, range 0-255.
  • HUE: Default 90, range 0-180.
  • COLOR GAIN: Default 138, range 0-255.
• LANGUAGE: Select language (ENGLISH, DEUTSCH, FRANCAIS, PYCCKNN, PORTUGUES, ESPANOL, CHINESE).
• CAMERA RESET: Resets camera settings to default (YES/NO).
• EXIT: Exits the camera menu.
