Winding the Mainspring
Before use, it is recommended to manually wind the mainspring to start the watch moving. This watch is an automatic watch equipped with a manual winding mechanism.
Instructions: When the crown is in position [0], turn the crown clockwise to wind. Wind 5-10 times. The watch will start to move naturally after shaking slightly.
Important Note: This watch must be worn for at least 8 hours each day to ensure it is fully wound. An automatic watch winds only when worn on the wrist and with arm movement. Winding by the crown provides power but may not be enough for full function. If the watch stops or loses time, it may not be fully wound.
Important Notes:
- If the watch is running smoothly, do not wind the crown to avoid overwinding. Frequent wear should provide sufficient power.
- If the watch has stopped after a period of not wearing, gently move it side to side 20-30 times to move the rotor, or gently turn the crown 5-10 times to get the second hand running.
How to Set the Time
- Pull the crown out to position [2] (2nd click).
- Turn the crown clockwise to set the correct time.
- Push the crown in.
How to Set the Date
- Pull the crown out to position [1] (1st click).
- Turn the crown anti-clockwise to set the correct date.
- Push the crown in.
* Do not set the date between 9:00 P.M. and 4:00 A.M.
How to Set the Second Time Zone
- Pull the crown out to position [1] (1st click).
- Turn the crown clockwise to set the correct time zone indication (refer to the 24Hrs. marking on the dial).
- Push the crown in.
How to Read a Third Time Zone
Your watch is equipped with a turning bezel calibrated with a 24-hour time zone marking. This allows you to read a third timezone at a glance.
Time Zone 1 or Home Time
This is the normal time read by the main hour and minute hands.
Time Zone 2
By setting the independent GMT hand, you can read a second time zone off the 24-hour markings on the turning bezel.
Time Zone 3
By turning the bezel, which operates the 24-hour ring, you can align another time zone.
Example:
- You are in LONDON, time is 3 PM (15:00).
- To read time in DUBAI (+4 from LONDON), adjust the GMT hand to the 19 position (19:00).
- To view time in HONG KONG (+4 from DUBAI), turn the outer bezel so that the 23 marker aligns with the GMT Hand. The time in HONG KONG (23:00) will then be visible.
Water Resistance
The water resistance chart serves as a guide. Actual water resistance may vary based on factors like water temperature, salinity, and usage. It can be compromised over time with wear and tear.
NEVER wear your watch in a jacuzzi, hot shower, or steam room, as steam can enter the case and cause condensation, potentially damaging inner workings.
