Getting Started
Your thermostat comes pre-programmed by the installer. You can verify and adjust settings as needed:
- Fan Setting: Defaults to 'Auto'. The fan operates only when the heating or cooling system is active. Setting it to 'On' provides continuous fan operation for improved air circulation or air cleaning.
- System Setting: Defaults to 'Heat'. Options include 'Heat', 'Cool', 'Auto' (for automatic switching between heating and cooling), and 'Em Heat' (Emergency Heat for heat pumps).

- Function Buttons: Used to select displayed functions.

Operating Your Thermostat
Fan Control: Press the 'FAN' button to toggle between 'Auto' and 'On' modes.
System Control: Press the 'SYSTEM' button to select 'Heat', 'Cool', 'Off', 'Auto', or 'Em Heat' based on your needs.
Auto Changeover: In 'Auto' mode, the thermostat automatically switches between heating and cooling. A 3-degree 'deadband' ensures a minimum separation between heating and cooling setpoints to prevent short-cycling.
Compressor Protection: This feature prevents damage to the compressor by ensuring a minimum delay before restarting. The 'Cool On' or 'Heat On' indicator will flash during this delay.
