The AGPTEK MP3 Player is a compact, portable device designed for music playback and Bluetooth connectivity.
Buttons and Controls
The device features several buttons and ports:
- Indication Light Hole (1): Shows device status.
- MIC-in (2): Microphone input.
- USB Port (3): For charging and data transfer.
- Headphone Jack (4): For audio output.
The main control interface includes:
- Menu/Mode Button (≡): Press to switch between Bluetooth and MP3 modes.
- Previous/Volume Down Button (-): Click to go to the previous song; hold to decrease the volume.
- Next/Volume Up Button (+): Click to go to the next song; hold to increase the volume.
- Play/Pause/Power Button (▶): Hold to turn the device on/off. Click to play or pause music. Click to answer or refuse an incoming call when Bluetooth is connected.
Basic Operations
Turning On/Off
Hold the [Play/Pause/Power] button to turn the device on or off.
Bluetooth Connectivity
- To turn on the player, hold the [Play/Pause/Power] button. You will hear two beeps. Press the [Menu/Mode] button to switch to Bluetooth mode. Both indicator lights will blink with an audible beep.
- On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth, search for, and pair with "AGPTEK A15" (or similar identifier). A clear tinkling sound and slow blinking indicator light confirm a successful connection.
- Note: The initial pairing process connects the device. Subsequent connections will be automatic when Bluetooth is active and the player is in range.
- When a call is received, and the player is connected via Bluetooth, click the [Play/Pause/Power] button to answer or refuse the call.
- While music is playing, click the [Play/Pause/Power] button to pause or resume playback.
- Double-click the [Play/Pause/Power] button to redial the last outgoing call.
Music Playback
- After powering on, press the [Menu/Mode] button (≡) to switch to MP3 Music mode.
- Use the [-] button to go to the previous song and the [+] button for the next song.
- Hold the [-] button to decrease volume and the [+] button to increase volume.
Charging and File Transfer
A clear tinkling sound indicates the player is powering off.
If you hear two beeps without operation, the player's battery needs charging. Connect the player to a computer or a 5V 500-800mA adapter using a micro USB cable.
To transfer music and other files, connect the player to a computer via USB and copy the desired files.
Help and Troubleshooting
- Player does not turn on: Check if the battery is depleted. Connect to a charger and try again after charging.
- Heavy noise during playback:
- Ensure the headphone plug is clean.
- Check if the music file is damaged. Try playing other files to confirm. Damaged files may cause noise or skipping.
- No sound from the player:
- Verify that the volume is not set to zero.
- Ensure the earphones are properly connected to the player.
