Music Playback Features

Rewind/Forward

On the main playing interface, long press the [Previous] () or [Next] () buttons for rewind/forward functionality. Tap them for the previous/next song. Note: This function is not supported under Bluetooth mode.

Shuffle/Repeat

You can shuffle your music through the button submenu by long-pressing the [Menu/Back] (=) button and selecting "Shuffle" and "Repeat" under "Play mode". Alternatively, access "Setting" from the main interface, then select "Shuffle" and "Repeat" under "Play mode".

Note: Playing through "Music" shuffles songs within the current folder. Playing through "Folder" shuffles songs by folder. Similarly, repeating through "Music" repeats within the folder, while "Folder" allows repeating all songs by folder.

Playlist

Using Preset Playlists: Long press the [Menu/Back] (=) button and choose "Add to playlist". You can add songs to three preset playlists: "Playlist on the go [1]", "Playlist on the go [2]", and "Playlist on the go [3]".

Creating Custom Playlists: Use the free program Media Go, available for download at http://mediago.sony.com/chs/download. Create your playlists in Media Go, then right-click the playlist name and select 'Add playlist to X:' (where X is your MP3 player's disk).

Note: Playlist functionality is not supported under Bluetooth mode.

Audio Book Bookmarks

Long press the [Menu/Back] (=) button and select "Add bookmark" under "Bookmarks". Bookmarks are marked by the stopping time (hh:mm:ss) for convenient continuation. Each audio file supports up to 10 bookmarks. You can overwrite existing bookmarks with new ones. Saved bookmarks can be accessed via "Go to bookmark" and deleted via "Delete bookmark" within the "Bookmarks" menu.

Bluetooth Function

Select the Bluetooth application from the main menu to connect to Bluetooth devices.

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode (typically indicated by flashing green and red lights).
  2. Your device will attempt to connect automatically upon the first pairing.
  3. If automatic connection fails, follow these steps: Ensure your BT device is in pairing mode. Select "Bluetooth Search" on the player. When your BT device appears, select it and choose "Connect Bluetooth" for a successful connection.

Note in Bluetooth Mode: Shuffle functions operate on an individual folder basis. To shuffle all songs, place them in a single "Music" folder. Ensure previously paired devices are in pairing mode. Playlist and rewind/forward functions are not supported under Bluetooth mode.
