First Setup

Headphones with Automatic Pairing

Step 1: Remove the JBuds Air Executive earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.

Step 2: Tap and hold both touch sensors for 3 seconds or longer to power on the earbuds. The left earbud will glow solid white, and the right earbud will blink blue and white, indicating they are ready to connect to your device.

Connecting via Bluetooth

On your device, select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" from your Bluetooth settings. Two beeps followed by solid white lights indicate a successful connection.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:

Turn off Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case; they will automatically begin pairing via Bluetooth. Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" in your device settings to connect.

Button Functions

Audio Feedback:

• Power On: Chime sound
• Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps
• Low Battery: "Low Battery" voice prompt (below 20%)
• Power Off: Chime sound

Left Earbud Functions:

• Volume Down: Single tap
• Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double tap
• Skip Backward: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
• Switch EQ: Triple tap
• Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds

Right Earbud Functions:

• Volume Up: Single tap
• Play/Pause: Double tap
• Skip Forward: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
• Answer Call: Single tap
• End Call: Double tap
• Reject Call: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
• Power On/Off Be Aware Mode: Triple tap
• Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds

Powering Off Earbuds Without Charging Case:

Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings and disconnect from "JBuds Air Executive". The earbuds will automatically power off after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Equalizer Settings

Tap the left earbud three times to cycle through the different EQ presets. Voice prompts will announce the selected EQ mode.

• JLab Signature: Balanced sound with enhanced vocals and bass.
• Balanced: Even sound without additional audio enhancement.
• Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass frequencies.

Charging the Earbuds

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will automatically power off and begin charging. Blue indicator lights signify charging, and they will turn off when fully charged.

Step 2: The earbuds will automatically power on and connect to your device when removed from the case.

Charging the Case: Connect the JBuds Air Executive to a computer or a USB charger (5V 1A or lower). The case lights will blink white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

Customization

Experiment with the included Cush Fins and various ear tip sizes to find the most secure and comfortable fit for your ears.

Insert the earbud into your ear canal and twist slightly to achieve the best seal and fit.

Troubleshooting

No Sound in Left Earbud or Earbuds Disconnecting (Manual Reset)

1. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and "forget" the JBuds Air Executive. (Refer to Figure A).
2. Open the charging case and leave both earbuds inside.
3. On ONE earbud, tap the touch sensor four times rapidly. The light will blink blue four times, then turn solid blue. Leave the earbud in the case. (Refer to Figure C1).
4. Repeat step 3 for the other earbud. The light will blink blue four times, then turn solid blue. (Refer to Figure C2).
5. Remove both earbuds from the charging case and hold them approximately 5 cm apart. Wait for the left earbud to turn solid white and the right earbud to blink blue and white. You can now reconnect to your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Cannot Connect or Reconnect

1. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and "forget" the JBuds Air Executive. (Refer to Figure A).
2. Turn Bluetooth off and then on again on your device. (Refer to Figure B).
3. Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait for the left earbud to glow solid white and the right earbud to blink blue and white.
4. Select "JLab JBuds Air Executive" in your device settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips

• Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, but the case is not.
• The Bluetooth connection is primarily established through the right earbud. For the most stable connection, keep your device close to your right side or in your right pocket.
• If you prefer to use only one earbud, use the right earbud.
• Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and enable it on your desired device to connect.

Warnings

• Avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
• Do not drop or crush your earbuds.
• Earwax buildup in the ear tips can affect sound quality. Gently clean ear tips with a cotton swab or appropriate tool to maintain optimal audio performance.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
• If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, stop usage immediately and consult a medical professional.
• Treat your earbuds with care, similar to expensive sunglasses. Store them in a safe place when not in use.
