The data wheel can be turned left/right to increase/decrease the value of the flashing parameter on the screen. Pressing the data wheel in will enter the value and move the cursor to the next parameter.
Let’s use the Legacy Aeris XD for this example, and let’s assume you would like to increase the volume (gain) of the Aeris bass section.
1. Press the “Gain” button located at the left of the front panel. 2. Please note the 8 output channels at the far right of the front panel, labeled 1-8. Output channel 1 corresponds to the left Aeris active bass channel, and output channel 5 corresponds to the right Aeris active bass channel. Output 2 corresponds to the left Aeris upper section and Output 6 corresponds to the right Aeris upper section powered by your stereo amplifier. 3. Press the output “1” button. 4. The screen will update and you will see a dB gain level- please rotate the rotary dial to the right to increase the volume level of the left bass section. Once the desired bass output on the left side is achieved, you can press the output “5” button and increase the volume level of the right bass section to the desired level. 5. Once you are done with adjustments, you can press the data wheel again to exit.

FAQ
What are the differences between the included Legacy Wavelaunch processor and the upgrade Legacy Wavelet 2 processor? There are quite a few technical differences between the two. The Wavelet 2 processes at 64 bits, and has a more advanced correction algorithm. Most importantly, the Wavelet 2 also corrects in the time domain, while the Wavelaunch is largely correcting only in the frequency domain. Additionally, Wavelet 2 can also be used as a preamplifier (the preamp can be bypassed), and includes its own microphone to automatically run room correction and adjust for the room. Wavelet 2 also features a high-end DAC, capable of up to 32 bit 384kHz audio, in addition to accommodating 4 other analog stereo sources and 4 digital inputs. Finally, Wavelet 2 is also easier to control, wirelessly from any iPad/iPhone/Android or computer. For full information, please see more, here.
