Thank you for choosing our product. We sincerely hope that our Smart Interactive Flat-Panel can bring convenience to your team cooperation. Before using the product, please carefully read the User Guide, as it briefly describes the steps to start using this product.

Note:

Important Safety, Compliance and Warranty Information

SAFETY WARNING!

Placement

  • Please do not place the product in unstable or easily tilted locations.
  • Please avoid placing the product in areas where direct sunlight can reach, near heating devices such as electric heaters, or other heat sources and strong light sources.
  • Please avoid placing the product near devices with strong radiation.
  • Please do not place the product in damp or liquid-splashed areas.

Power

  • Please check and ensure that the voltage value on the nameplate of the rear shell matches the main power supply voltage,
  • Please unplug the power cord and antenna plug during thunderstorms and lightning weather.
  • Please unplug the power plug when there is no one indoors or when not in use for a long time.
  • Please avoid physical or mechanical damage to the power cord.
  • Please use a dedicated power cord and do not modify or extend the power cord,
  • Please check and ensure that the ground wire of the AC power cord is connected, otherwise it may cause abnormal touch writing.

Screen

  • Please do not use hard or sharp objects instead of our supplied writing pens on the screen to avoid affecting the visual effect  and writing.
  • Please unplug the power before cleaning the product, Use a soft, dust-free, and dry cloth to clean the screen,
  • Please do not use water or liquid detergent to clean the product,
  • Please contact the authorized reseller for thorough cleaning.
  • Please do not display a high-brightness image on the screen for a long time.

Temperature & Humidity

  • Do not place this product near electric heaters or radiators.
  • When moving the product from a low-temperature area to a high-temperature area, please allow it to sit for some time to ensure that any internal condensation dissipates before powering it on.
  • The operating temperature of the product is 0°C-40°C.
  • Do not expose this display to rain, moisture, or areas near water.
  • Please ensure indoor dryness and ventilation.

Ventilation

  • Please place the product in a well-ventilated area to ensure good heat dissipation.
  • Please place the product in an area with adequate ventilation, leaving at least a 10cm-space on the left, right, and back, and a 20cm-space above the product.

Disclaimer
The following circumstances are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Product damage caused by catastrophes, lightning strikes, faulty electric power, and environmental factors.
  • Defacement of product labeling (label alterations and falsification, missing serial numbers, serial numbers no longer discernible, or invalid serial numbers). All serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes.
  • Unauthorized changes to non-parts, modifications or alterations, or removal of parts from the products.

Installation Steps

Unpacking

Install the Vertical brackets
Attach the vertical brackets to the back of the Interactive Flat Panel.

Note: The appearance of the back varies depending on its size.

Wall Mount Installation

Hold the Wall Mounting Bracket steadily against the wall, ensuring it is level. Then, mark the 8 positions for the drill-in mounting holes. Next, use the supplied M6 self-tap screws and M8 flat washers to attach the mounting bracket to the wall. Tighten each bolt with a socket wrench as shown in the following diagram.

Mount the panel vertically on the bracket to complete installation and ensure that the panel is kept in the center of the bracket.
Then, tighten the M5 screw bolt on the vertical bracket and secure it to the wall mounting bracket.
Note: It’s recommended to have at least two people install the wall mounting bracket simultaneously.
Avoid self-installation to prevent injury due to improper operation.

Connect The Power Cord 

  1. Plug the power cord into the power socket of the product.
  2. Connect the plug to the power supply.

Turn On The Power 

  1. Turn on the power switch from the back side.
  2. Press the power button to boot the product until the indicator turns white.

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the computer’s HDMI output port, and the other end to the Interactive Flat-Panel’s HDMI input port.
  2. Connect the USB cable from the external computer’s USB port to the Interactive Flat-Panel’s USB Touch port.
  3. Start the external computer.
  4. Start the Interactive Flat-Panel.
  5. Select the signal source of the Interactive Flat-Panel to the external computer channel.

Remote Control Function Keys Description

Precautions when using remote control 

  1. Ensure the remote control towards the display’s IR sensor for effective operation.
  2. Avoid excessive vibration when handling the remote control.
  3. Direct sunlight or strong lighting on the sensor window may cause malfunction; adjust lighting or angle if necessary.
  4. Replace low batteries promptly to maintain optimal performance; remove batteries if not using for an extended period to prevent corrosion.
  5. Use only one type of battery, avoid mixing old and new, and follow proper disposal guidelines; never dispose of batteries in fire or attempt to charge, disassemble, or short-circuit them.
  6. Prevent exposure to extreme heat or sunlight to avoid battery damage.

Installing the OPS computer (Optional)

CAUTION

  1. The OPS computer does not support hot plugging. Therefore, you must insert or remove the OPS computer when the display is powered off. Otherwise, the Interactive Flat-Panel or OPS computer may be damaged.
  2. Additionally, you will need to purchase the OPS computer separately and follow the steps below to install the OPS.
    Step 1:
    Loosen the external M3 screws of the OPS slot on rear of the interactive flat-panel and remove the cover.

    Step 2:
    Insert the OPS computer into the OPS slot on the rear of the interactive flat-panel.

    Step 3:
    Secure the OPS computer to the interactive flat-panel by using the M3 screws.

    Step 4:
    Ensure the installation is correct before turning the power on again.

Launcher Home Screen Overview

The Launcher home screen is built around easy-access shortcuts so you can open key tools with a single tap. It presents four primary functions:

  1. Schedule – View or book meetings and set reminders.
  2. Conference – Start or join a video meeting using the pre-installed ViiTalk Rooms conferencing software.
  3. Screen Share – Wirelessly cast content from other devices to the display.
  4. Whiteboard – Open the interactive whiteboard for real-time writing and annotation.
    To use above functions, simply tap any icon to launch the corresponding feature.
  5. Network Status – Displays the current status of Wi-Fi and hotspot connections.

Launching the Floating Ball
The Floating Ball is a convenient on-screen tool that provides quick access to key IFPD functions.
To activate it, simply touch the screen with Two Fingers simultaneously. The Floating Ball will appear, allowing you to easily access commonly used features for faster operation.

Setting Up the IFPD

This section explains how to access system settings and configure basic preferences on your Interactive Flat Panel Display.

Accessing the Settings Menu
To enter the general settings menu, tap the grid icon located at the bottom of the home screen.
This will open the system general settings where you can configure various functions.
Accessing the Quick Settings Menu via Floating Ball
Alternatively, tap the screen with two fingers to activate the Floating Ball, then select the settings icon to open the Quick Settings Menu.

Language Settings
To change the system language, open the Settings Menu, select “Language & Input Method” from the left sidebar, tap Language, and then use the drop-down menu to choose your preferred language.

Configuring the Audio & Video Settings

The IFPD features a built-in AI-powered camera and microphone array with advanced functions such as face tracking, voice tracking, AI gesture control, and picture-in-picture mode. This section explains how to configure the AI camera and microphone settings before using the video conferencing application.

Launching the camera settings menu
To enter the camera settings menu, tap the screen with two fingers to activate the Floating Ball, then select the [Audio Video] icon to open the Camera Setting.

Setting up the AI feature
The ViiGear Camera Settings panel includes three tabs that allow you to configure the camera, microphone, and AI Assistant features. Once set, your configurations will automatically apply when using video conferencing applications.

  1. Camera Settings – Configure the camera and enable or disable AI tracking features such as face and voice tracking, Note: Available camera functions may vary depending on the model.
  2. Audio Settings – Set up the microphone and speaker preferences.
  3. AI Assistant – Enable or customize gesture control features on the IFPD.

Starting Vii Talk Rooms for Video Conferencing

This section explains how to use the video conferencing feature on the IFPD. The device comes integrated with Vii Talk Rooms, a high-performance video conferencing software powered by Vii TALK.
Before using this feature, please ensure your IFPD is connected to the internet. To launch the application, simply tap the Conference icon on the home screen. This will open the Vii Talk Rooms interface, where you can start or join a meeting.
The Vii Talk Rooms main screen includes the following key features:

  1. Vii Talk Number – Each IFPD is assigned a unique 10-digit ViiTalk number, enabling direct video calls between devices.
  2. Join Meeting – Enter a meeting ID to quickly join a scheduled video conference.
  3. Cloud Room – Tap to host a cloud meeting and send the invite link to other participants.
  4. Video Phone – Make a direct video call to another ViiTalk device using its unique ViiTalk number.
  5. Cloud Share – Share content such as apps or screens during a meeting via the cloud.
  6. Settings – Adjust meeting preferences, audio/video settings, and network configurations.
  7. Reservation – Display scheduled meetings with specified time and participants.

NOTE:

  1. Multi-Platform Support – Vii Talk Rooms is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. To learn more or download the client app, please visit: https://www.viitalk.com/en/download.html
  2. Network Requirement – For optimal video call quality, ensure the IFPD is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or a wired LAN connection.

Sharing the Screen

This IFPD is equipped with a convenient screen sharing feature, offering three different methods to share your laptop or mobile device screen. To begin sharing, simply tap the “Screen Share” icon on the home screen.
Screen Sharing Options
With the Screen Share feature, you can:

  1. Connect via USB Dongle – Use an optional wireless USB dongle to easily share your laptop screen.
    Note: The wireless USB screen-sharing dongle is an optional accessory and may not be included with your device.
  2. Share via Hotspot – Use the IFPD’s built-in hotspot to connect Android or iOS devices and wirelessly share their screens.
  3. Cast from Mobile or PC – Use standard casting protocols such as Air Play, Miracast, or other supported apps to share content from your device wirelessly.
    These flexible options make it easy to present content from a variety of devices in both classroom and meeting room environments. For more details, please refer to the on-screen instructions.

Screen Share by Hardware
  1. Turn on the IFPD’s hotspot and plug the screen casting dongle into its USB port for pairing first. Re-pair if the hotspot name and password are changed.
  2. Plug the screen casting dongle into the PC. When state LED changes from flashing to constant. Tap the screen casting dongle to start sharing your PC screen.

Scenario 1: Connecting hotspot

  1. Turn on the IFPD Hotspot and connect to the SSID name.
  2. Open the web browser and enter “tranScreen.app” to download the client app.
  3. Launch the tran Screen app and select “tranScreen-27310” to start screen sharing.

Scenario 2: Connecting to local network

  1. Connect the device to the same local network as the IFPD.
  2. Open the web browser and enter “tran Screen. app to download the client app.
  3. Launch the tran Screen app and select tranScreen-27310″ to start screen sharing.

Method 1:
  1. Scan the QR code to download the mobile app before sharing the screen.
  2. Turn on the IFPD’s hotspot and launch the mobile app, then scan the QR code and enter the PIN code to start mirroring the screen.

Method 2:

  1. Scan the QR code to download the mobile app before sharing the screen.
  2. Turn on the IFPD’s hotspot and connect the mobile device to the hotspot name: AndroidAP_8193with the password: 12345678
  3. Launch the app and enter the PIN code to start sharing the screen.

Using the Whiteboard

This IFPD is integrated with an interactive Whiteboard that transforms the display into a dynamic and intelligent collaboration tool. Designed to support intuitive finger gestures, it allows users to move the canvas, zoom in/out, and interact with objects through selection, rotation, and copying.
This smart whiteboard is ideal for team discussions, classroom teaching, and brainstorming sessions making collaboration smoother and more engaging.

Whiteboard Toolbar Description:

  1. General Settings – Customize the whiteboard background, configure stylus preferences, generate a QR code to share content, or save whiteboard pages locally.
  2. Toolbar – Allows you to change pen brush style, adjust colors, use the eraser, undo actions, select objects, insert images or shapes, and access additional gadgets.
  3. Page Settings – Add new pages or switch whiteboard pages.

Using the Visualizer App (Vii Show)

The IFPD comes pre-installed with the Vii Show visualizer app, an interactive tool designed specifically for Interactive Flat-Panel Displays. Vii Show supports various input devices, including USB document cameras, wireless visualizers, and other compatible camera devices.
Vii Show enables educators to draw, annotate, and present content directly on the screen using a wide range of intuitive tools. Whether you’re capturing snapshots or recording demonstration videos, the app makes the process quick and easy.

Visualizer Toolbar Description:

  1. General Settings – Access general device settings such as changing the connected camera, adjusting resolution, and other system preferences.
  2. Toolbar – Allows you to select various functions including: brush styles, eraser, undo, object selection, text tool, filters, mask and spotlight, camera settings, freeze frame, snapshot capture, and video recording.
  3. Split-Screen & Show Folder – This feature allows you to enable split-screen mode to compare images side by side, open the album to view scanned photos and recorded videos, and switch between USB and Wi-Fi visualizer devices as needed.

Maintenance

Protecting the product from dust and moisture will help prevent unexpected failures. Please clean the product regularly with a soft, dust-free, dry cloth.
Ensure to unplug the product before cleaning.

Cleaning the Screen 

  1. Dissolve fabric softener or detergent in 75% alcohol.
  2. Soak a piece of soft cloth in the solution.
  3. Squeeze the cloth dry before use.
  4. Do NOT allow the cleaning solution to drip onto other components of the product.

Cleaning the Touch Frame
Clean the touch frame with dry, soft, lint-free wipes.

Long Periods of IFPD Inactivity

When the product is not used for an extended period, be sure to unplug the power plug to prevent potential damage to the product from power surges such as lightning.

  1. Turn off the power switch of the interactive flat panel.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the interactive flat panel.
  3. Unplug the external power plug.
