Power On/Off
- Power On: Slide to ON, the Bluetooth indicator lights up.
- Power Off: Slide to OFF, the Bluetooth indicator turns off.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Step1: For the first use, place the iPad on the stand and slide the power switch to the On position, and then KB06103 will automatically enter Bluetooth Channel 1 pairing mode (Default mode).
To enter the Bluetooth pairing mode for future use, you can also try the following steps: which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed. - Hold
simultaneously for 3 seconds. When the Bluetooth indicator flashes in blue rapidly, it means KB06103 is in Bluetooth Channel 1 pairing mode.
- Hold
simultaneously for 3 seconds. When the Bluetooth indicator flashes in orange rapidly, it means KB06103 is in Bluetooth Channel 2 pairing mode.
- Hold
simultaneously for 3 seconds. When the Bluetooth indicator flashes green rapidly, it means KB06103 is in Bluetooth Channel 3 pairing mode.
- Step2: On the iPad, select Settings>Bluetooth>On, and then “Inateck KB06103” will show up in “Other Devices”.
- Step3: Tap “Inateck KB06103” to pair it with your iPad, and then the Bluetooth indicator will stay solid in seconds, which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed.

Set Up Your iPad:
For a better user experience, please follow the steps below to set up your iPad at first use once Bluetooth pairing is completed (using iPadOS 17 and above versions as an example). For any queries, feel free to contact us.
- Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and drag the slider to the middle of the tracking speed.
- Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and turn on “Tap to Click” and “Two-Finger Secondary Click”.
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and turn off “Assistive Touch”.
- Go to Settings > Multitasking & Gestures and turn on “Four & Five Finger Gestures”.
- Go to Settings > Accessibility Keyboards and turn off “Full Keyboard Access”.
Optional Settings
- Steps to stop Caps Lock changing your keyboard language:
- Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off Switch Languages using Caps Lock
- Steps to disable the double-tap period shortcut:
- Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and click the switch to turn on. Shortcut.
- Steps to disable using the Global Key to show Emoji:
- Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off “Press the Global Key for Emoji”.
Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems
- Step 1: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find “Inateck KB06103” in My Devices and tap the info button
next to it, then tap Forget This Device. If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them.
- Step 2: Hold
simultaneously for 3 seconds and then all four indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.
- Step 3: Pair it with your Inateck KB06103.
iPad OS Multi-Touch Gestures
Touchpad Area Numeric Keypad On/Off
- Enable Numeric Keypad: Double-tap the NumLock area on the touchpad twice, and the indicator 1 will stay green.
- Disable Numeric Keypad: Double-tap the NumLock area on the touchpad twice to turn it off, and the indicator 1 will turn off.
Note: If there is no numeric input within 60 seconds, the numeric keypad function will be disabled ¡and the touchpad function will automatically switch on, with the numeric keypad indicator turning off.
Adjust the Keyboard Backlight
- Hold
simultaneously to adjust the backlight color. 7 colors are available in total.
- Hold
simultaneously to adjust the backlight brightness. 3 levels are at your choice.

How to Use on Windows
How to Use F1-F12
The default function of F1-F12 is a shortcut and multimedia functions.
- You may press
to enable/disable the
lock. (The keyboard disables the
lock by default.)
- When the Fn Lock is enabled:

refresh function on Windows. The battery indicator light will flash twice quickly; if En lock is turned off, the indicator will not flash.
- To use shortcut and multimedia functions, press

- This method applies to all F keys (F1-F12).

The Combination of Fn and Other Keys
Al Function
- On Windows devices, the
can be used to wake up Inateck Origin, a software that supports AI translation, AI chat, and other functions.
- You can search for Inateck Origin in the Microsoft Store to download it.
Short-press the
- If no text is copied, it will activate the AI chat.
- If text is copied, it will activate AI translation.
LED Indicator
Restore Factory Defaults
- Hold
for 3 seconds, and then the four indicators will blink four 3 times once the factory reset is completed.
Check Battery Level
- Hold
simultaneously to check the battery level according to the blinking frequency of the red battery indicator.
Charging
- When the battery level is under 20%, the battery indicator will blink red.
- You can connect the included USB cable to recharge the keyboard.
- The recommended charging voltage is 5V.
- The keyboard will fully charge in 3.5 hours.
- The red battery indicator will stay solid red when the keyboard is charging.
- Once it’s fully charged, the battery indicator turns green.
Sleep Mode
- When KB06103 is left idle for 10 seconds, he backlight will automatically turn off.
- When KB06103 is left idle for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode, and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted. The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.
Note: Pressing the touchpad cannot wake up the keyboard.

Keyboard Stand Usage
- Slide out the stand on the back until it reaches the limit position.
- Rotate the stand support block to the limit position.
- Place the tablet or phone on the stand. Note: Do not apply excessive force to the stand components to avoid exceeding the load-bearing capacity.
