The Power of Aquaguard® Superb SS
The new Aquaguard® Superb SS inactivates and removes microbial contaminants from your water, providing pure, sweet-tasting water. It is tested and certified by AWRTC for the removal of disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and protozoa-cysts, along with other contaminants like pesticides, residual organic impurities, harmful heavy metals, and arsenic. The multi-stage enhanced purification process ensures that the water you drink is absolutely pure and crystal clear. Aquaguard® Paani Ka Doctor offers choices to select ideal technology based on your input water quality.
Know Your Aquaguard® Superb SS (Installation & Usage)
Ensure your Aquaguard® Superb SS is installed by a trained Eureka Forbes Service Technician only.
- Input water must be tested for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Total Hardness.
- Install your Aquaguard® Superb SS in a dry, ventilated place. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heating devices, or areas below freezing temperatures. It can be placed on the kitchen counter or wall-mounted.
- Ensure that the input tap water temperature is in the range of 10°C - 40°C. Avoid connection to a hot water tap as it can damage the filter.
- Make sure the tap pressure is between 0.3 kg/cm² to 2.0 kg/cm² for UV+UF models, and not exceeding 3.0 kg/cm² for RO/RO+UV-MTDS models. If the input water pressure is higher than the upper limit, installation of a PRV* (Pressure Reducing Valve) is required. If it's lower than the limit, a Booster Pump* is recommended.
- Flush filters and membrane thoroughly and independently for 3-5 minutes to remove fine particles present in the filter before installation.
Input Water Quality Usage Limitations:
- If input water iron content is more than 0.3 mg/L, use of an iron remover* is recommended as a pre-treatment.
- If input water turbidity is more than 5 NTU or comprises colloidal particles, use of a special filter* is required as a pre-filter.
- Do not install the water purifier if the TDS is more than that prescribed in the technical specifications.
*Available at an extra cost.

Important Note on Zero Pressure Pump (ZPP) and Dry Run Sensor (DRS)
Your Aquaguard® is equipped with a unique pump having both suction and boosting capabilities and comes with specially designed DRS (Dry Run Sensor). Now, this enables your Aquaguard® to work in the following operating conditions:
- Normal Input Water Pressure - up to 3 Bar (max.)
- Low Water Pressure from Loft Tank.
- Zero water pressure
- Suction mode: Maximum 3 feet below product level
Product functioning at 'Normal / Low and Zero water Pressure':
- Ensure that the water flow from the tap into the product is always more than 1.5 LPM.
- In case there is no incoming water supply, the DRS detects unavailability of water and stops the unit from working to prevent dry running.
- As and when the water supply resumes, the DRS detects the availability of water and restarts the product. Meanwhile, the intelligent mechanism in your Aquaguard® will keep on checking the availability of water at regular defined intervals and make the product work as and when water supply resumes. Note: In case you notice that water in the supply line resumes and product is in stand-by mode, then please restart the product by switching OFF and ON the power supply.
Product Functioning with 'Suction Capability':
- The ZPP in your Aquaguard® also has the capability of suction of water from a 3 feet distance below the level of product i.e., it can pull water from a bucket/container. Note: It is not suitable for suction of water from underground storage tank, pump, open well, etc. where the water level is beyond 3 feet below the level of product.
- Whenever the water in the container/bucket gets over and bucket gets empty, the DRS detects non-water availability and stops the product from functioning. Note: When the water is refilled in the container/bucket, the product should be restarted by switching Off and On the power supply.
Prolonged use in loft tank mode/suction mode can impact the working of the pump, performance of the product, and life of filters. If the performance is not meeting the flow requirement due to low input pressure, then the use of an external booster pump is highly recommended. Do not re-circulate/re-use the rejected water (discharged by the product) back into the product.
