Installing Your Aquaguard® Stylo

Installation must be performed by a trained Eureka Forbes Service Technician.

  1. Input water must be tested for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Total Hardness.
  2. Install in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, heating devices, or freezing temperatures. It can be counter-top or wall-mounted. Ensure the area is free of pests.
  3. Input tap water temperature should be between 10°C and 40°C. Avoid hot water taps.
  4. Input water pressure requirements:
    • Stylo RO+UV+MTDS/RO: 0.3 kg/cm² - 3.0 kg/cm²
    • Stylo UV+UF: 0.3 kg/cm² - 2.0 kg/cm²
A Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is mandatory if pressure exceeds the limit. A booster pump is recommended if pressure is below the limit. (Accessories available at extra cost).
  5. Flush filters thoroughly and independently for 3-5 minutes before installation to remove fine particles.
  6. After installation, run the purifier for 5-10 minutes and drain this water.

Input Water Quality Usage Limitations:

  1. If iron content is > 0.3 mg/litre, an iron remover is recommended.
  2. If turbidity is > 5 NTU or comprises colloidal particles, a special filter is required.
  3. If TDS is > 1000 ppm or hardness is > 300 ppm, a Membrane Life Enhancer is recommended.
  4. Do not install if TDS exceeds technical specifications.

TDS Regulator Operating Procedure (RO+UV+MTDS Models)

The TDS modulator is located inside the product. It is factory set to fully closed mode. To increase the TDS level of output water, slowly loosen the spindle anticlockwise. A slight quarter turn is usually sufficient. Rotating clockwise closes the modulator and reduces TDS blending. Adjustment depends on input water TDS and RO membrane capacity. Adjustment should only be done by an authorized Eureka Forbes technician.

Purification Process

Aquaguard® Stylo UV+UF

Here's How Your Aquaguard® Stylo UV+UF Works:

Diagram Description: A schematic illustrates the water flow. Raw water enters through a Hybrid Diverter Valve, passing sequentially through an LPS (likely Low Pressure Sensor), i-Filter, Chemi-Block (with built-in Particle Trap Filter), a Flow Restrictor, an UF Cartridge, a UV Lamp (E-Boiling), and finally into a Purified Water Storage Tank. Components like Solenoid Valve and QG Tube are also indicated.

Purification Process Table (UV+UF):

Stage Treatment Material Benefits
1. i-Filter™ Multi-layered Polypropylene Roving Wound Cartridge Removes fine suspended particles such as dust, dirt, mud, and sand from water.
2. Chemi-Block (with built-in Particle Trap Filter™) Dust Free Bacteriostatic Activated Carbon Block Reduces excess chlorine, bad odour, colour, and organic impurities. Also removes very fine turbidity-causing particles.
3. Ultra Filter UF Hollow Fiber Capillary tube type membrane-based technology providing crystal clear clarity and making water safe from bacteriological contamination.
4. UV e-boiling Germicidal UV Lamp UV disinfects water by eliminating waterborne disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, making it safe to drink.
5. Active Copper™+^^ Bacteriostatic Taste Enhancer with Active Copper™™ Technology Copper offers antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties supporting healthy metabolism and energy. Activated carbon removes organic components and polishes water for taste and clarity.

Aquaguard® Stylo RO

Here's How Your Aquaguard® Stylo RO Works:

Diagram Description: A schematic shows water flow similar to the UV+UF model, but includes a Membrane Life Enhancer and a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane. Raw water enters through a Hybrid Diverter Valve, passing through an LPS, i-Filter, Chemi-Block, Membrane Life Enhancer, RO Membrane, Active Copper™, and into the Purified Water Storage Tank.

Purification Process Table (RO):

Stage Treatment Material Benefits
1. i-Filter™ Multi-layered Polypropylene Roving Wound Cartridge Removes fine suspended particles such as dust, dirt, mud, and sand from water.
2. Chemi-Block (with built-in Particle Trap Filter™) Dust Free Bacteriostatic Activated Carbon Block Reduces excess chlorine, bad odour, colour, and organic impurities. Also removes very fine turbidity-causing particles.
3. Membrane Life Enhancer*** Special Anti-scalant Media Prevents scaling of dissolved salts on the RO membrane surface, protecting it. Recommended if input water TDS is > 1000 ppm or hardness is > 300 ppm. (Available at extra cost).
4. Reverse Osmosis Thin Film Composite (TFC) Reverse Osmosis Membrane Cartridge Reduces TDS, hardness, pesticides, and heavy metals (e.g., arsenic, lead, mercury). Eliminates microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and cysts.
5. Active Copper™+^^ Bacteriostatic Taste Enhancer with Active Copper™™ Technology Copper offers antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties supporting healthy metabolism and energy. Activated carbon removes organic components and polishes water for taste and clarity.

***Not a part of the product; Membrane life enhancer is recommended if input water TDS is > 1,000 ppm (mg/L) or input water hardness is > 300 ppm (mg/L). Available at extra cost.
