The Power of Aquaguard Blaze
The Aquaguard Blaze Hot & Ambient is equipped with patented Active Copper™ technology, which infuses copper ions into the water, known for its antimicrobial properties. It also features Mineral Guard™ technology to retain essential natural minerals. The Zero Pressure Pump allows water to be drawn even at zero pressure and can suck water from up to 1 meter below the purifier. The RO membrane effectively removes viruses, bacteria, and modern contaminants like lead and mercury, ensuring your family stays safe and healthy.
Aquaguard Blaze Hot & Ambient Features
With an aesthetic design and metallic finish, the Aquaguard Blaze Hot & Ambient complements any home or office environment.
- Active Copper™ Cartridge: Provides antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits, supporting healthy metabolism. Activated carbon polishes the water for better taste.
- Mineral Guard™ Technology: Retains natural essential minerals that other purifiers might remove.
- Dual Protection: Advanced RO+UV purification for comprehensive safety (for RO+UV+MTDS models).
- Superior RO Purification: Removes contaminants like lead and mercury.
- MTDS: Ensures the purifier works with various water sources up to 2,000 ppm TDS (for RO+UV+MTDS models).
Installing Your Aquaguard Blaze
Installation must be performed by a trained Eureka Forbes Service Technician.
- Input water must be tested for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
- Install the purifier in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, heating devices, or freezing temperatures. Ensure adequate height to avoid hot water splashes.
- Input water temperature should be between 10°C - 40°C. Avoid connecting to a hot water tap.
- Ensure tap water pressure does not exceed 3.0 kg/cm². If it does, a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is mandatory.
- Flush filters and membrane thoroughly for 3-5 minutes.
- Ensure the reject water pipe is positioned lower than the purifier.
- The TDS regulator should be adjusted by a trained technician for optimal water quality.
- Do not switch on the heater until the storage tank is completely filled during the first-time usage.
Input Water Quality Usage Limitations:
- For iron content above 0.3 mg/litre, an iron remover is recommended.
- For turbidity above 5 NTU, a special pre-filter is required.
- For TDS above 1,000 ppm or hardness above 300 ppm, a Membrane Life Enhancer is recommended.
- Do not install if TDS exceeds technical specifications.
Purification Process of Aquaguard Blaze RO+UV+MTDS
The multi-stage purification process includes:
- i-Filter™: Removes suspended particles like dust, dirt, and sand.
- Chemi-Block: Adsorbs color, odor, excess chlorine, and organic impurities.
- Mineral Guard™: Retains essential minerals like Calcium and Magnesium.
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane: Reduces TDS, hardness, pesticides, and heavy metals; eliminates microorganisms.
- UV e-boiling: Disinfects water by eliminating disease-causing bacteria and viruses.
- Active Copper™ Cartridge: Provides antimicrobial benefits and enhances taste.
- MTDS Regulator: Adjusts TDS for healthy water.

Important Note on Zero Pressure Pump (ZPP) and Dry Run Sensor (DRS)
The Aquaguard is equipped with a ZPP and DRS, enabling it to function under various conditions:
- Normal Input Water Pressure (up to 3 bar max.)
- Low Water Pressure from Loft Tank
- Zero Water Pressure
- Suction Mode (up to 1m below product level)
Product Functioning with Normal/Low & Zero Pressure:
- Ensure water flow into the product is > 1.5 LPM.
- DRS detects water unavailability and stops the unit to prevent dry running.
- DRS restarts the product when water supply resumes. The unit intelligently checks for water availability.
- If the product is in standby mode when water supply resumes, restart by switching the power OFF and ON.
Product Functioning with Suction Capability:
- DRS stops the product when the water container is empty. Restart by switching power OFF and ON.
- Prolonged use in loft tank/suction mode may affect pump performance and filter life. A booster pump is recommended for low pressure if performance is not met.
- Do not recirculate rejected water back into the product.
- The booster pump can suction water from 1m below the product level (e.g., from a bucket).
- Not suitable for suction from underground storage tanks, sumps, or open wells beyond 3 feet below the product level.
