You can charge the battery on or off the bike. Turn the bike off, plug the charger into the wall, and then into the battery. Charge until the charger's LED light turns green (usually 6-8 hours for the first charge).
The bike's frame serial number is located below the bottom bracket. The motor serial number is on the motor face, and the display serial number is printed on the back of the display.
The PAS (Pedal Assist System) level determines the motor's power output. Level 0 provides no assistance, while level 5 provides the maximum motor power.
