This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your Magicshine SEEMEE 150 MAG Magnetic Rear Bike Light. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Key Features

4. Setup & Installation
4.1 Mounting Options
The SEEMEE 150 MAG offers versatile mounting options:
- Seat Post Mount: Use the provided strap for vertical mounting on your seatpost, directing the light backward for maximum rear visibility.
- Saddle Mount: Attach the light under your saddle using the dedicated saddle mount.
- Handlebar Mount: The strap can be detached from the base and replaced with a handlebar strap for horizontal mounting, allowing the light to function as a front light (DRL).
- Helmet Mount: Compatible with LUMOS helmets (Ultra Fly/Ultra Aero Series) using the magnetic mount.

4.2 Installation Steps
- Install on Seat Post: Secure the mount base with the strap around your seat post. Ensure the light faces backward.
- Install Under Saddle: Attach the saddle mount to your saddle rails, then connect the light unit.
- Remove Quick-Release Adapter: The light unit can be easily detached from any mount by pulling back on the clip tabs and pulling through the magnetic attachment.
- Install on Helmet: For compatible helmets, simply attach the light unit magnetically to the designated helmet mount.

4.3 Charging
The SEEMEE 150 MAG is equipped with USB-C fast charging. To charge, open the protective cover on the light unit to reveal the USB-C port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the light and a compatible USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off & Mode Selection
Press and hold the power button for 1 second to turn the taillight on/off. When the taillight is on, click the power button to cycle through various modes: Low → High → Night Flash → Day Flash → Eco Flash → Low. The light features dual-color output (red and white). Double-clicking the power button switches the output mode between red and white light. The white light is ideal as a Daytime Running Light (DRL) but not for primary illumination.

5.2 FTR LightSync Control
The FTR LightSync system allows one-touch control of compatible Magicshine front and rear lights using a single remote (MJ-6558, sold separately). This enhances safety by keeping your hands on the handlebars.
5.2.1 Pairing the FTR Remote
To pair the remote with your SEEMEE 150 MAG and a compatible front light:
- Turn on both the front light and the SEEMEE 150 MAG taillight.
- On the FTR remote, press and hold both the circle and square buttons for approximately 5 seconds until the remote's indicator flashes blue, entering pairing mode.
- Hold the remote close to the front light and the taillight. The indicator on the remote and the light units will flash blue for 2 seconds to confirm successful pairing.
5.2.2 Operating with FTR Remote
After successful pairing:
- Press and hold any button on the remote for 1 second to simultaneously turn both the front and rear lights on or off.
- Click the circle button on the remote to cycle through the brightness levels of the front light.
- Double-click the square button on the remote to switch between flashing modes of the front light.
- To enter brightness mode from flashing mode, simply click the square button once. Press any button to exit.

5.3 Auto Group-Sync
The upgraded team ride mode allows multiple SEEMEE 150 MAG lights to instantly sync their flash patterns when close to each other, enhancing group recognition and visibility for safer group rides.

5.4 Battery Indicator
When the taillight is in standby mode, click the button once to activate the battery indicator for 3 seconds. The indicator colors represent:
- Green: 21% - 100% battery remaining
- Red: 11% - 20% battery remaining
- Flashing Red: 1% - 10% battery remaining
5.5 Lock Function
The light features an anti-accidental activation mode memory. The light will remember the last used setting when turned on again.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Charging: For optimal battery life, charge the device regularly, especially if it has not been used for an extended period. Avoid completely draining the battery.
- Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50% every 3-6 months.
7. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB-C charger and check the battery indicator.
- Light not pairing with FTR remote: Ensure both the light and remote are powered on and within close proximity during the pairing process. Re-attempt the pairing steps as described in Section 5.2.1.
- Light not holding charge: Ensure you are using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Mount not secure: Ensure the mount is correctly installed and tightened. For magnetic mounts, ensure the light unit is fully clicked into place.
