3. Installation Guide

3.1 Pre-Installation Check:

• Verify that your vehicle has a standard 1 DIN slot (approximately 180mm x 50mm).
• Ensure all necessary tools and accessories (listed in Section 9) are available.
• Disconnect the vehicle's battery before starting any electrical work to prevent short circuits.

3.2 Mounting the Unit:

Carefully slide the 1 DIN unit into the vehicle's dashboard slot. Secure it using the provided mounting brackets and screws. Ensure the unit is firmly in place to prevent vibrations.

3.3 Wiring Connections:

Refer to the detailed wiring diagrams in Section 4 for correct electrical connections. Incorrect wiring can lead to malfunctions or damage to the unit and vehicle.

4. Wiring Diagram

This car radio is a universal version and does not feature an integrated ISO connector. It uses a discrete wiring harness. During installation, follow the provided wiring definition diagram and connect to the correct pins to ensure the device powers on and functions correctly.

4.1 Main Power and Speaker Connections (Section A & B):

• Rear Right Speaker +: 1. PURPLE
• Rear Right Speaker -: 2. PURPLE AND BLACK

• Connect the black wire to the negative wire of the car's reverse light (Reverse Video Input).
• Connect the red wire to the positive wire of the car's reverse light.
• Connect the main power cable to the rear frame of the power supply.

5. Operation

5.1 CarPlay and Android Auto:

The unit supports both wireless and wired connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows you to access navigation, music, messages, and other compatible apps directly from your smartphone on the car radio's display.

• Wireless Connection: Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone and connect to the car radio. Follow on-screen prompts to establish the connection.
• Wired Connection: Connect your smartphone to the car radio's Type-C or USB port using a compatible cable.
• Navigation: Once connected, use online navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze) from your smartphone for real-time traffic information and route guidance.
• Compatibility Note: Some Android phone models may not be fully compatible with Android Auto due to manufacturer restrictions. It is recommended to verify compatibility directly with your smartphone brand.

5.2 Bluetooth Function:

The car radio features single-channel Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming. Only one device can be connected via Bluetooth at a time. Additional Bluetooth connections are disabled when CarPlay or Android Auto is active.

• Pairing: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for the car radio. Select the device and confirm pairing.
• Music Playback: Stream audio from your paired smartphone.
• Hands-Free Calls: Make and receive calls directly through the car radio.

5.3 FM Radio:

Tune into your favorite FM radio stations. The unit displays the radio frequency but does not show station names.

5.4 USB, Type-C, and AUX Ports:

• Media Playback: Play audio and video files directly from USB drives. Note that general data transmission is deactivated, except for media file reading.

5.5 Steering Wheel Controls:

Note: This car radio does not support CANbus. If your original car radio requires CANbus for steering wheel control, this unit may not retain all functions. Most basic steering wheel controls remain active with correct wiring.

5.6 Digital Sound Processor (DSP):

The integrated DSP allows for fine-tuning of audio output. You can adjust individual speaker levels and apply various equalization presets (e.g., Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical) to customize your listening experience.

6. Rear Camera Function

The included 720P HD rear camera provides a clear view of the area behind your vehicle, assisting with parking and reversing maneuvers. It features dynamic guidelines to help estimate distance and trajectory.

• Automatic Activation: When correctly wired (refer to Section 4), the rear camera view will automatically display on the car radio screen when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
