1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding. Ensure all components are securely fastened before each ride. Do not ride in wet conditions or on uneven surfaces. Adult supervision is recommended for younger riders.

• Age and Height Recommendation: Suitable for kids 4.3-5.6 ft tall.

4. Setup

4.1 Unfolding the Scooter

1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
2. Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem.
3. Release the locking latch and carefully lift the handlebar stem until it clicks into place, indicating it is fully upright and locked.
4. Ensure the folding mechanism is securely locked before riding.

4.2 Adjusting Handlebar Height

The handlebar height is adjustable to accommodate different rider heights.

1. Loosen the quick-release clamp on the handlebar stem.
2. Press the spring-loaded pin and slide the handlebar to one of the three available height settings (34 in, 36.5 in, 39 in).
3. Ensure the pin snaps securely into a hole.
4. Tighten the quick-release clamp firmly to secure the handlebar at the desired height.

4.3 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery.

• Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter.
• Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
• The charging indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.
• Charging time is approximately 4 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the handlebar display.
• To power off, press and hold the power button again.

5.2 Riding the Scooter

The FanttikRide T9 features a safety start mechanism. You must push off to gain a small amount of speed before the motor engages.

1. Place one foot on the deck and use the other foot to push off the ground, gaining initial momentum.
2. Once moving, press the thumb throttle on the right handlebar to engage the motor.
3. To slow down or stop, use the hand brake on the left handlebar or the rear fender brake by stepping on it.

5.3 Speed Modes

The scooter offers three user-selectable speed modes:

• E (Economical) Gear: Max speed of 7 MPH. Ideal for beginners or crowded areas.
• N (Normal) Gear: Max speed of 10 MPH. For general riding.
• S (Sport) Gear: Max speed of 12 MPH. For experienced riders seeking higher speeds.

Press the mode button on the handlebar display to cycle through the speed modes. The current mode will be indicated on the LED display.

5.4 LED Deck Lights

• Press the light button on the handlebar to turn the lights on/off or to cycle through different color modes.

5.5 Braking System

The T9 scooter is equipped with a dual brake system for reliable stopping power.

• Hand Brake (Electric Brake): Located on the left handlebar, this activates the electric brake for smooth deceleration.
• Rear Fender Fast Brake: Apply pressure to the rear fender with your foot to activate the mechanical brake.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the scooter clean with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Do not use high-pressure water jets to clean the scooter, as this can damage electronic components.

6.2 Battery Care

• Always fully charge the battery after each ride to maintain its lifespan.
• If the scooter will not be used for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50-70% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 30-60 days to prevent deep discharge.
• The 25.2V, 3.2 Ah lithium battery offers an impressive 1200 charging cycles.

6.3 Tire and Brake Inspection
