1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
2. Open the compartment cover.

4.2. Initial Power On and Zeroing

1. Press the power button (⑂) to turn on the device.
2. Before connecting to any system, ensure all ports are open to the atmosphere.
3. Press the ZERO button to calibrate the pressure sensors to atmospheric pressure. This ensures accurate readings.

4.3. Connecting Hoses

5. Operation

5.1. Selecting Refrigerant Type

1. Press the MODE button to cycle through the available refrigerant types.
2. The DMG-2SE is pre-programmed with 88 refrigerants. Select the one corresponding to your system.

5.2. Reading Pressure and Temperature

Once the correct refrigerant is selected and the manifold is connected to the system, the LCD will display real-time pressure and saturation temperature readings for both high and low sides.

5.3. Pressure and Temperature Units

The device supports various pressure units (psi, kg/cm², kPa, MPa, bar, inHg) and temperature units (°C/°F). Use the appropriate buttons (refer to the device's interface) to toggle between units as needed.

5.4. Automatic Shut-off

The DMG-2SE features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery life. The device will power off after a period of inactivity. Press the power button to restart.
