Maintenance

Cleaning:

Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.

Water Resistance (5 BAR / 50 Meters):

Your watch is water-resistant to 5 BAR (50 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use, including showering, hand washing, and short periods of recreational swimming. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

Battery Replacement:

The watch is powered by a long-lasting electronic quartz battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Consider professional battery replacement.
  • Incorrect time/date: Re-enter the Time Setting Mode and adjust the time and date as described in the 'Setting Time and Date' section. Ensure the correct 12/24 hour format is selected.
  • Buttons not responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not feature a lock). If the issue persists, a soft reset might be needed (consult a professional if unsure).
  • Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty and compromise water resistance.
