3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembly

1. Place the feeder base on a stable, flat surface.
2. Insert the food tank onto the feeder base, ensuring it is securely seated.
3. Attach the meal splitter inside the food tank if you intend to feed two pets simultaneously.
4. Place the desiccant bag into the desiccant compartment located in the lid, then close the lid securely to maintain food freshness.
5. Position the bowl trays and stainless steel feeding bowls at the front of the feeder.

3.2 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply options:

• DC 5V Power Adapter: Connect the provided power adapter to the feeder and a wall outlet for primary power.
• 3 D Cell Batteries (not included): Install 3 D cell batteries in the designated compartment for backup power. This ensures continuous feeding during power outages. It is recommended to use both power sources for reliability.

3.3 App Installation and WiFi Connection

1. Download the "Smart Life" App from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register or log in to your Smart Life account.
3. Add the device by following the in-app instructions. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi network. The feeder supports dual-band WiFi for stable connectivity.
4. Follow the prompts to connect the feeder to your home WiFi network.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Filling the Food Tank

Open the lid and pour dry pet food into the 7L transparent food tank. The transparent design allows for easy monitoring of food levels. Recommended food size is 5-15mm (0.19-0.59in).

4.2 Setting a Feeding Schedule

Use the "Smart Life" App to create a customized feeding schedule for your pets. You can set up to 20 meals per day, with a maximum of 12 portions per meal. This allows for precise control over your pet's diet and helps establish regular eating habits.

4.3 Remote Feeding and Monitoring

The app enables remote feeding, allowing you to dispense food manually from anywhere. The dual 2K cameras provide a live view of your pets, even at night, thanks to infrared night vision. You can also record videos, take photos, and use the two-way audio feature to interact with your pets.

6.1 Cleaning

The Frienhund ACF180W is designed for easy cleaning to maintain hygiene for your pets. The food tank and stainless steel bowls are detachable. The stainless steel bowls are dishwasher safe. The food tank can be individually disassembled for thorough cleaning.
