1. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Anti-Tipping Kit: Always install the included anti-tipping kit to secure the dresser to a wall. This is crucial to prevent serious injury from tipping, especially in households with children.
• Weight Limits: Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity for the tabletop (35 lbs) and individual drawers (6.6 lbs per drawer). Overloading can compromise stability and structural integrity.
• Placement: Place the dresser on a flat, level surface. Adjust the plastic legs to ensure stability and prevent wobbling.
• Children: Do not allow children to climb on or play with the dresser. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and typically requires only a few screws to be fastened. Follow these steps for a smooth installation:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the metal frame components according to the diagrams in the detailed instructions provided in the package. Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
3. Attach Adjustable Legs: Screw the four adjustable plastic legs into the bottom of the assembled metal frame. Adjust them later to level the dresser.
4. Place Wooden Top: Position the MDF wooden top onto the top of the metal frame. Secure it with the provided screws.
5. Prepare Fabric Drawers: Unfold each fabric drawer. Insert the solid hardboard base into the bottom of each drawer to give it shape and stability.
6. Attach Drawer Handles: Fasten the fabric handles to the front of each drawer using the provided screws. Tip: If the included screwdriver is difficult to use, a personal screwdriver may provide better leverage.
7. Insert Drawers: Slide the assembled fabric drawers into the designated slots in the metal frame.
8. Install Anti-Tipping Kit: Secure the dresser to a wall using the anti-tipping kit. This step is essential for safety.

4. Operating Instructions

The YITAHOME 4-Drawer Fabric Dresser is designed for convenient storage and organization.

• Drawer Usage: Gently pull the fabric handles to open and close the drawers. The drawers are designed to slide smoothly.
• Storage Capacity: Each fabric drawer has a capacity of approximately 6.6 lbs (3 kg). The overall dimensions of each drawer are 15.7" L x 11" W x 8.2" H. This is suitable for organizing clothes, scarves, socks, T-shirts, pants, sunglasses, books, and other lightweight items.
• Tabletop Use: The wooden top can support up to 35 lbs (15.8 kg). It is suitable for placing decorative items, lamps, or small electronics. Ensure items are placed centrally and do not exceed the weight limit.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your dresser.

• Cleaning the Fabric Drawers: The fabric drawers are made from cationic polyester fabric and breathable non-woven synthetic fabric. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the fabric drawers.
• Cleaning the Wooden Top: The MDF wooden top is waterproof. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
• Frame Care: The steel frame can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your dresser, refer to the following common solutions:

• Dresser is Wobbly: Ensure the dresser is on a flat surface. Adjust the plastic leveling feet at the bottom of the frame until the dresser is stable and does not wobble. Also, check that all frame screws are securely tightened.
• Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly: Verify that the fabric drawers are correctly inserted into their slots and that the hardboard base is fully extended. Ensure no items are obstructing the drawer's movement. Check if the frame is level.
• Difficulty Attaching Handles: If the provided screwdriver is not effective, use a standard household screwdriver for better grip and torque when attaching the fabric handles to the drawers.
• Dresser Tipping Hazard: Always install the anti-tipping kit as instructed in Section 3. If it becomes loose, re-secure it immediately.
