Product Overview

The NARWAL Freo Z10 is an advanced robot vacuum and mop combo designed for comprehensive floor cleaning. It features a DualFlow Tangle-Free System, powerful 15,000 Pa suction, and an AI-Powered Base Station for self-maintenance. This intelligent device adapts to hard-to-reach areas, offers obstacle avoidance, and is suitable for pet hair and hard floors.

Setup Guide

1. Unpack and Place the Base Station: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the self-maintaining base station on a hard, flat surface near a power outlet, ensuring adequate space around it for the robot to dock.
2. Install Side Brushes: Attach the two side brushes to the bottom of the robot. They are color-coded for easy installation (purple and orange).
3. Connect Power: Plug the base station power cord into the station and then into a wall outlet.
4. Fill Water Tanks: Open the top lid of the base station. Fill the clean water tank with clean water and insert the provided detergent bottle into its designated slot.
5. Initial Charge: Place the robot onto the base station to begin charging. Ensure the robot is properly aligned with the charging contacts.
6. Download and Connect App: Download the "Narwal Freo" app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).

Cleaning Modes and App Control

The Narwal Freo Z10 offers various cleaning modes and extensive control through its dedicated mobile app. You can select full house cleaning, specific room cleaning, or zone cleaning. Adjust suction power and mop wetness levels to suit your needs.

Smart Features in Action

The robot utilizes advanced technology for efficient cleaning:

• MopExtend & EdgeSwing: The mop extends and swings to reach deep into corners and along edges, ensuring thorough cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas like kitchen toe-kicks.
• AI DirtSense: The robot intelligently detects dirt levels in real-time. If the water used for mopping is still dirty, it will automatically re-mop the area until it's spotless, ensuring truly clean floors.
• Millimeter-Precise Obstacle Avoidance: Front and side sensors allow the robot to detect and avoid obstacles as low as 1 cm and clean along edges within 5 mm, preventing collisions and ensuring smooth navigation.
• Carpet Cleaning: The mop heads lift by 12mm when a carpet is detected to avoid cross-contamination, allowing for effective vacuuming on carpets without wetting them.

Maintenance

Base Station Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and prevent overflow errors, regular maintenance of the base station is crucial:

1. Remove the entire cleaning base with the white plastic cleaning tray attached.
2. Check for any debris blocking the holes and scrub gently with a soft brush if needed.
3. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe away all standing water from the tray and inside the base station.

Robot and Brush Maintenance

To maintain the tangle-free system and stable connection:

• Wipe the robot's drive wheels and caster wheels with a dry cloth.
• Remove and reinstall the cleaning base with the white plastic cleaning tray attached.
• Make sure the roller brush is properly installed and the cover is securely latched.
• For relocated bases, initialize Quick Remap (App > Map Settings > Remap).
• To avoid roller brush entanglement: Remove debris before use, clean thoroughly with a soft brush or compressed air, and replace if flattened or damaged.
• To avoid side brush entanglement: Pre-clean before use, inspect for wear, and replace if bristles appear worn or broken.

Troubleshooting

Robot Disconnects from App

If your Freo Z10 shows an offline status or network disconnection:

1. Verify 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your router's 2.4GHz band is active (required for smart devices).
2. Run a diagnostic hotspot test: Set up a mobile hotspot using a simple password and reconnect the robot to the app via the hotspot.

Note: If the robot connects successfully to the hotspot, the issue may lie with your home Wi-Fi network. Contact your ISP if needed.
