4. Assembly

6. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:

Riding the Scooter:
- Initial Push-Off: To engage the motor, you must first push off with your foot to reach a speed of approximately 3 MPH.
- Throttle Control: Once moving, gently press the thumb throttle on the right handlebar to accelerate.
- Braking: Use the hand brake lever on the left handlebar for braking. The scooter is equipped with a rear disc brake and EABS (Electronic Anti-lock Braking System) for efficient stopping.
- Cruise Control: To activate cruise control, maintain a consistent speed for 10 seconds. The scooter will then hold that speed. To disengage, simply apply the brake or press the throttle.

7. Folding and Unfolding for Portability
The Gotrax XR Ultra features a one-step folding system for easy storage and transport.
Folding the Scooter:
- Ensure the scooter is powered off.
- Locate the red knob and red lever near the base of the handlebar stem.
- Pull the red knob outwards and simultaneously pull the red lever downwards.
- Gently fold the handlebar stem downwards until it locks into the rear fender hook. This typically takes about 3 seconds.

- Press the button on the rear fender to release the handlebar stem from the hook.
- Lift the handlebar stem upwards until it clicks securely into its upright riding position.
