Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Drip Tray Installation: The drip tray is adjustable. To install, remove the drip tray and place the clip on the front of the drip tray level with the notch. Then, place the clip into the notch. Hold the coffee machine with your left hand, and with your right hand, press the drip tray down to the right, then to the left. The correctly installed drip tray will be just below the two tabs.
- Water Reservoir Filling: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with clean, soft water or pure water. Avoid using hard water to prolong the machine's lifespan. Place the filled water tank back onto the machine, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Initial Flush: Before first use, perform an initial flush. Fill the water tank, place an empty cup under the dispenser, and run a brewing cycle without any coffee capsule or ground coffee. This cleans the internal system.

Operating Instructions
1. Capsule and Ground Coffee Compatibility
This KOTLIE machine is designed for versatility, supporting multiple coffee formats:
- K*C*up capsules
- NES*Original Capsules
- D*olce G*usto capsules
- Ground Coffee
- 44mm ESE Coffee pods
Ensure you use the corresponding adapter for each coffee type. Additional adapters for other capsule types may be purchased separately.

2. Brewing Coffee
- Preheating: For optimal coffee temperature, especially in colder environments, it is recommended to preheat the coffee system, the capsule adapter (without a capsule initially), and your cup by brewing hot water through the machine before adding coffee.
- Insert Coffee: Open the machine's lever, insert the appropriate capsule or ground coffee adapter with your chosen coffee, and close the lever firmly.
- Select Water Volume: Use the 7 visual water volume selection buttons to choose your desired coffee volume.
- Brewing Hot Coffee: After preheating (approximately 30 seconds until the indicator light stops flashing), press the power button. The power light will turn red, indicating hot brew mode. The machine will begin brewing.
- Brewing Cold Coffee: To make cold coffee, long-press the power button for 3 seconds. The power light will turn blue, indicating cold brew mode. The coffee will be dispensed at room temperature. Add ice to your cup for a chilled beverage. Note: The machine does not have a cooling function.

Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Regularly clean the machine's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
- Drip Tray and Used Capsule Container: Empty and clean the drip tray and used capsule container regularly to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene.
- Descaling: To ensure optimal performance and coffee taste, descale the machine regularly, typically after every 200 cups. Follow the descaling instructions provided with your descaling solution. Using soft or pure water can help reduce scale buildup.
- Water Tank Cleaning: Periodically clean the water tank with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
