  1. Do not attempt to open the handle while the machine is brewing coffee, to avoid interrupting and damaging the machine.
  2. After brewing coffee, be careful not to burn your hands as the pods are still hot and wait for them to cool down completely before cleaning used capsules.

A sincere suggestion:

  1. This machine has a cold and hot extraction function. Before extracting coffee, be sure to adjust the temperature with the appropriate button to avoid operating errors that result in cold coffee or excessive extraction. Yellow light - medium-high temperature hot extraction, red light - high temperature hot extraction, green light - medium-low temperature hot extraction, blue light - cold extraction temperature, the machine does not heat up.
  2. For high-quality coffee, be sure to use pure water.
  3. The figure above shows the production of coffee in addition to instant coffee brewing, other brews are at medium or high temperature hot extraction (yellow light), according to personal needs or the requirements of some coffee capsules, you can choose to switch to the red light high temperature button, at this time the temperature of the coffee in the cup will be higher than that of medium or high temperature (yellow light) brewing by 2-5°C.
  4. Clean the pods, stainless steel powder bowl, and drip tray promptly after each coffee preparation, so that the deterioration of the remaining coffee liquid does not cause clogging of the pod filter and leakage of the machine.
  5. Choose coffee capsules from brand manufacturers. Coffee capsules that do not fit together, have a dented surface, or have broken coffee capsules will cause leaks or even block the machine.
  6. Please use finely ground espresso coffee powder, do not use very fine coffee powder as it will clog the pod filter basket and cause leaks or blockages in the machine. Unpackaged coffee powder must be sealed and used within 10 days, as coffee without oil has a very bad taste if it is stale.
  7. Please note that the machine's brewing head and the KCUP and Mio pods have sharp needles; therefore, do not touch the brewing head and the needles inside the pods with your hands.
  8. If you need to remove the water tank, wait 15 seconds after turning off the machine, otherwise a small amount of water will leak out.
  9. To ensure the temperature and aroma of the coffee, you must insert empty pods before each brewing, place ground coffee pods in the powder or stainless steel ESE bowl, and then press the brewing button; this will drain the remaining water in the pipe and clean the pods, ensuring the temperature and aroma of the liquid coffee.

8. Machine Cleaning

The machine should be cleaned after brewing.

  1. Make it a habit to clean the coffee machine every day after the last brew to make it last longer!
  2. It is recommended to clean the coffee machine every two months or after brewing 300 cups of coffee.
  3. Pour out the waste water and clean the coasters and drip tray.
  4. Place a slightly larger cup in the coffee machine's dispenser and insert empty pods.
  5. Select the maximum water quantity in the seventh gear and then select the coffee dispensing mode; to ensure effective cleaning, perform three cleaning cycles.
  6. Select the maximum water quantity at the seventh level and then select the coffee dispensing mode; dispense clean water three times in succession to complete the cleaning process.
  7. Remove the pods, discard the used capsules or coffee grounds, and wash the pods.

9. Descaling Methods

Descaling/Care

Drinking water varies from region to region. Limescale particles in hard drinking water can accumulate as residue in the coffee machine, clogging and damaging the pipes. To prevent this, be sure to descale the coffee machine after brewing 200-300 cups of coffee/after a significant drop in coffee yield/after one or two months/if you feel that the coffee temperature is significantly too low. Descaling processes must be carried out correctly to avoid damage. It is therefore essential to observe the following instructions.

Important Notes

ATTENTION: do not fill the tank with hot water!

Recommendation: Purchase a commercially available descaler (descaling solution) and dilute it according to the manufacturer's instructions; pour the mixture into the water tank.

Place a large basin under the sink to collect the diluted descaling solution and residue.

Fill the container to the maximum mixing level with the descaling solution and ensure that the solution is completely dissolved.

Select the maximum water quantity and press the dispensing button to empty the tank during normal coffee brewing. Repeat this operation several times to empty the entire tank.

Repeat the operation by running another container of water mixed with the calcium removal solution.

Repeat the operation by rinsing the internal water pipes with a container of fresh water (without descaling solution). There is no descaling solution to thoroughly clean the internal water pipes.

After cleaning, dry the machine with a towel, cloth, or clean paper, reassemble all parts, and regularly clean the coffee dispenser and the inside of the machine.

10. Standby Mode

  1. The default setting for standby mode is 9 minutes, meaning the device turns off after 9 minutes and all LEDs turn off.
  2. If you wish to use the device, touch any button to reactivate it.

11. Automatic Shut-off Mode

  1. Factory setting: The appliance automatically turns off after 1 hour of inactivity.
  2. Press the On/Off button to turn on the device.

12. Disposal of Used and Discarded Machines

When a coffee machine has reached the end of its life cycle, it must not be disposed of with household waste, but must be taken to a local collection point specializing in separate waste collection or to a company that offers this service. Targeted disposal of electrical appliances prevents the environment or human health from being harmed by inadequate disposal methods. At the same time, recycling the materials they are made of can save large amounts of energy resources. They must be disposed of separately. It is forbidden to throw them directly into the trash.
