5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to power on the device.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to power off the device.
5.2. Unit Conversion (Inch/Millimeter)
- Press the mm/in button to switch between millimeter (mm) and inch (in) units. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.
5.3. Zero Setting
The zero-reset function allows for comparative measurements or setting a reference point.
- Place the depth gage on a flat, stable reference surface, ensuring the measurement rod is fully retracted or resting on the surface.
- Press the ZERO button. The display will show '0.000' or '0.00'.

- Press the HOLD button again to release the reading and return to live measurement.
