Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Water Tank:

2. Descaling (Mineral Buildup Removal):

To maintain optimal performance and prevent mineral buildup, especially if using tap water (though distilled water is recommended), descale your steamer regularly (e.g., every 3-6 months depending on usage and water hardness).

  1. Unplug the steamer and ensure it is cool.
  2. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
  3. Pour the solution into the water tank.
  4. Plug in the steamer and turn it on. Allow it to steam for several minutes until half of the solution has been used.
  5. Turn off and unplug the steamer. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Empty the remaining solution from the tank and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
  7. Refill the tank with fresh water and steam for a few minutes to flush out any residual vinegar.
