2. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Assembly typically involves attaching the wheels to the stroller frame and then configuring the seat or car seat.
2.1 Stroller Frame Assembly
- Unfold the stroller frame until it locks into place.
- Attach the front and rear wheels as per the instructions provided in the quick start guide. Ensure they click securely.
2.2 Toddler Seat / Carriage Mode Setup
The toddler seat is designed to convert into a carriage (bassinet) mode. This allows for a comfortable, flat resting position for infants.
- To convert to carriage mode, recline the seat fully using the lever on the back.
- Locate the buckle underneath the seat and unbuckle it. This will allow the seat to flatten into the carriage configuration.
- To revert to toddler seat mode, re-buckle the strap and adjust the recline to an upright position.

2.3 Infant Car Seat Installation
The LiteMax Infant Car Seat can be used with its Safe Zone Base in a vehicle or directly attached to the stroller frame.
- Car Base Installation: Secure the Safe Zone Base in your vehicle using either the LATCH system or the vehicle's seat belt, following the detailed instructions in the car seat manual. Ensure the base is level and tightly secured. The base features an anti-rebound bar for enhanced safety during frontal impacts.
- Attaching to Stroller: To attach the infant car seat to the stroller frame, align the car seat with the designated adapters on the stroller and press down firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely latched. The car seat can be installed facing forward or rearward on the stroller.
- Removing from Base/Stroller: To remove the car seat, locate the release handle (typically at the back of the car seat) and pull it while lifting the car seat.

3. Operating Instructions
The Evenflo Pivot Modular Travel System offers multiple modes of use for convenience and adaptability.
3.1 Stroller Modes and Reversibility
The stroller seat can be easily reversed to allow your child to face you or face forward. It also converts between toddler seat and carriage modes.
- Reversing the Seat: To reverse the seat, locate the release buttons on either side of the seat attachment points. Press these buttons and lift the seat off the frame. Rotate the seat 180 degrees and reattach it until it clicks securely.
- Adjusting Recline: The toddler seat features multiple recline positions. Use the recline lever (typically on the back of the seat) to adjust the angle for your child's comfort.

3.2 Harness System
The stroller and car seat are equipped with a 5-point harness system for your child's safety.
- Securing Child: Place your child in the seat and bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders and the waist straps around their hips. Connect the buckles into the central buckle until you hear a click.
- Adjusting Straps: Adjust the shoulder strap height to be at or slightly above your child's shoulders for forward-facing, and at or slightly below for rear-facing. Tighten the harness straps snugly against your child's body, ensuring you can only fit one finger between the strap and your child's collarbone.
3.3 Canopy and Storage
The large canopy provides ample shade and features a peek-a-boo window for ventilation and easy viewing of your child. The oversized storage basket offers generous space for essentials.

3.4 Brakes
To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels until the stroller is stationary. To release, lift the pedal.
3.5 Folding the Stroller
The stroller is designed for easy, compact folding.
- Ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position and fully upright.
- Locate the folding triggers (usually on the handlebar or sides of the frame). Simultaneously pull or press these triggers.
- Push the handlebar forward and down until the stroller frame collapses and locks into its folded position. The stroller can be folded with the toddler seat attached.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your travel system.
- Cleaning Fabric: The fabric components can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. For deeper cleaning, refer to the care labels on individual fabric parts for specific washing instructions. The footrest area is made of a rubberized fabric for easy cleaning.
- Frame Cleaning: Wipe the stroller frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Wheel Maintenance: Periodically check the wheels for debris and ensure they spin freely. Lubricate axles with a silicone-based lubricant if squeaking occurs.
- Harness Care: Inspect the harness straps regularly for fraying or damage. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common solutions:
- Squeaky Wheels: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the wheel axles. Avoid using oil-based lubricants.
- Stroller Difficult to Steer: Ensure all wheels are free of debris and properly inflated (if applicable). Check that the front swivel wheels are unlocked for easier maneuverability.
- Car Seat Base Fit: If the car seat base does not fit securely in your vehicle, consult the car seat manual for alternative installation methods or contact customer support for assistance.
- Folding Issues: Ensure the seat is correctly positioned (forward-facing, upright) and both folding triggers are engaged simultaneously.
