Setup

1. Powering On

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the camera and the 5V/1A power adapter. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The camera will power on automatically.

2. App Download & Account Creation

Download the 'ieGeek Cam' app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Follow the in-app instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.

3. Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Open the ieGeek Cam app and tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon.
  2. Select your camera model from the list.
  3. Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera. Enter your Wi-Fi password in the app.
  4. The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone's screen approximately 4-8 inches (10-20 cm) in front of the camera lens until you hear a prompt indicating successful scanning.
  5. Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid blue, and you can name your device and begin monitoring.

4. Installation

Operating the Camera

1. Pan/Tilt Control

In the live view interface of the ieGeek Cam app, use the directional controls to remotely pan (rotate horizontally) and tilt (move vertically) the camera lens to adjust your viewing angle.

2. Automatic Tracking

Enable the auto-tracking feature in the app settings. The camera will automatically detect and follow any motion within its field of view, ensuring that moving subjects remain in frame.
