3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the Keyboard
- Connect the USB Type-C end of the provided cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB Type-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically be detected and configured by your operating system.
3.2 Attaching the Wrist Rest
For enhanced comfort during extended use, attach the magnetic plush leatherette wrist rest to the front edge of the keyboard. The magnets will secure it in place.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Keyboard Functions
The Razer BlackWidow V4 75% functions as a standard QWERTY keyboard. All keys are pre-programmed for their respective character inputs. Special functions are accessible via the Function (Fn) key combinations.
4.2 Multi-Function Roller and Media Keys
The keyboard features a multi-function roller and dedicated media keys for convenient control over audio and other settings.
- Multi-Function Roller: Typically controls volume (rotate) and mute/unmute (press).
- Media Keys: Dedicated buttons for play/pause, skip track, and previous track.

5. Customization
5.1 Hot-Swappable Design
The keyboard's hot-swappable design allows for easy replacement of its pre-loaded switches with custom 3-pin or 5-pin switches. Use the included 2-in-1 keycap and switch puller for this process.
- Carefully remove the keycap using the keycap puller.
- Use the switch puller to gently extract the switch from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the sockets on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Replace the keycap.

5.2 Razer Chroma RGB Lighting
The keyboard features per-key lighting and a 2-side RGB underglow, powered by Razer Chroma RGB. Lighting effects can be customized and synchronized with other compatible devices using the Razer Synapse software.

5.3 Optimized Typing Experience
The keyboard is engineered for a satisfying typing experience, featuring a gasket-mounted FR4 plate, tape-enhanced PCB, lubricated stabilizers, and two layers of sound-dampening foam.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. Avoid excessive moisture.
- For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air or a soft brush.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
6.2 Switch and Keycap Care
When replacing switches or keycaps, handle them gently to avoid damaging the switch pins or keycap stems. Ensure proper alignment before pressing components into place.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Keyboard Not Responding
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.
- If using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer.
7.2 RGB Lighting Issues
- Ensure Razer Synapse software is installed and up to date.
- Check lighting settings within Razer Synapse to confirm desired effects are enabled.
- Restart your computer and the Razer Synapse software.
7.3 USB Port Disconnection (Intermittent)
If the keyboard intermittently disconnects, especially when the cable moves, ensure the USB-C cable is fully inserted and not damaged. Try a different USB-C cable if available. This can sometimes indicate a loose connection or a faulty cable/port.
