3. Setup

3.1 Physical Installation

The EMEET C980 PRO can be easily mounted on top of your monitor or laptop screen. Its flexible stand allows for multi-angle positioning to achieve the best view. For alternative setups, the webcam features a 1/4-inch nut interface for tripod mounting (tripod sold separately).

For advanced image customization and firmware updates, download and install the EMEETLINK software from the official EMEET website. This software allows you to adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, and white balance.

4. Operation

4.1 Basic Usage

Once connected, your EMEET C980 PRO webcam should be automatically recognized by your operating system and video conferencing applications. It is compatible with Windows (Win 10, 11), macOS (10.14+), and Android TV 7.0+. Please note that it is not supported on Linux, tablets, ARM Windows, TVs, or game consoles. The webcam supports major platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, and FaceTime.

4.2 Image and Audio Quality

The 4K UHD CMOS 6P lens ensures high-quality video. For optimal clarity with the fixed focus lens, ensure subjects are within approximately 6 to 10 inches (15-25 cm) of the camera. The 4 noise-canceling microphones and 2 AI-speakers provide clear audio input and output.

4.3 Privacy Protection

The EMEET C980 PRO includes a magnetic webcam cover. To ensure privacy, simply attach the cover over the lens when the webcam is not in use. This physical barrier prevents unintended video capture.
