Setup Guide

1. Powering the Feeder

  • Connect the provided USB Type-C power cable to the feeder and a power outlet.
  • For battery backup, insert 3x D-size batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. (Batteries not included).

2. App Download and Device Pairing

  2. Manually add the device: Choose "Pet Feeder With Camera (Wi-Fi)".
  3. Power on the device and ensure the indicator is flashing rapidly or a prompt tone is heard. Confirm the device's blue indicator is flashing, then click "Next" in the app.

  5. Keep the QR code displayed on your phone facing the feeder camera at a distance of 10-15cm (4-6 inches) until you hear a sound.
  6. Once the device is added successfully, you can change the pet feeder name if desired.

Operating Instructions

1. Scheduling Feeds

  • Open the PetTech app and select your feeder.
  • Navigate to the "Schedule" section.
  • Set desired feeding times and the number of portions for each meal (1-20 portions per meal).
  • Save your schedule. The feeder will automatically dispense food at the programmed times.

2. Manual Feeding

  • From the app's main screen, select the "Feed" option.
  • Choose the number of portions you wish to dispense immediately.
  • Confirm to dispense food.

3. Using the HD Camera and Two-Way Audio

  • Access the live camera feed through the app to view your pets.
  • Use the "Talk" function to speak to your pets (record up to 10 seconds).
  • Utilize "Screenshot" to capture images or "Record" to save video clips of your pets.
  • Motion detection alerts will notify you when your pet is near the feeder.

4. Recommended Daily Feeding Portions

The feeder has a 5L capacity, approximately 20 cups of kibble. 1 cup is about 8 portions, and 1 portion is approximately 2 teaspoons (30ml).

5. Recommended Food Types and Kibble Size

The feeder is designed to work best with dry food, freeze-dried food, mixed food, and air-dried food. To prevent food blocking, ensure kibble size is within 2-10mm (0.07-0.4 inches).

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: The food container and stainless steel bowls are detachable for easy cleaning. Wash them with water and mild detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
  • Important: DO NOT wash the main feeder base, which contains electronic components. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
  • Desiccant Bag: Replace the desiccant bag periodically to keep the food fresh and dry.
