4. Setup
Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Place the heat press on a sturdy, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the machine for the swing-away function and proper ventilation.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Main Unit Placement: Position the main heat press unit on your chosen stable surface.
- Attachment Installation:
- The main platen for T-shirts is pre-installed.
- For other attachments (mug, hat, plate), refer to the specific instructions provided with each attachment for secure installation. Generally, this involves unscrewing the main platen, attaching the desired accessory, and securing it with the provided fasteners.
- Power Connection: Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply matches the machine's requirements.
5. Operating Instructions
This section outlines the general operation of the heat press and specific instructions for each attachment.
General Operation Steps:

Figure 5.1: Simplified 4-step operation guide for the heat press.
- Power On: Turn on the main power switch.
- Set Temperature and Time: Use the digital control panel to set the desired temperature and time according to your material and transfer paper specifications. Press the "SET" button to toggle between temperature and time settings, and use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust values.
- Pre-heat: Allow the machine to reach the set temperature. The "TEMP" indicator will show the current temperature.
- Prepare Item: Place your item (e.g., T-shirt, mug) on the appropriate platen/attachment. Ensure it is flat and free of wrinkles. Position your transfer paper or vinyl.
- Adjust Pressure: Use the pressure adjustment knob to set the appropriate pressure for your item. Turn clockwise for more pressure, counter-clockwise for less.
- Press: Swing the heating platen over the item (if using swing-away design) and press down the handle firmly until it locks into place. The timer will automatically start counting down.
- Release: Once the timer reaches zero, release the handle and swing the heating platen away from the item.
