Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the controller. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the controller and a power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, USB wall adapter). The LED indicators will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

2. Connecting to Nintendo Switch/Switch 2/OLED

The NYXI Hyperion Pro Controller supports three play modes:

• Handheld Mode: Slide the left and right controller sections onto the sides of your Nintendo Switch console until they click into place. The console will automatically recognize the controllers.
• One Controller Mode (Wireless): Attach both controller sections to the included controller grip. Press and hold the SYNC button on the grip until the indicator lights flash. On your Switch, go to "Controllers" > "Change Grip/Order" and follow the on-screen instructions to pair.
• Tabletop Mode: Detach the controller sections from the console or grip. Pair them individually or as a combined unit wirelessly as described above.

Important Note for Switch 2 Compatibility:

This controller is slide-in, not magnetic. It does NOT support Switch 2's handheld mode, mouse mode, or wake-up function directly out of the box. For full Switch 2 compatibility, please contact NYXI after-sales service for the necessary upgrade method.

Operating Instructions

Hall Effect Joystick

The NYXI Hyperion Pro Controller features Hall Effect Joysticks, which use magnets and electrical conductors to detect position, providing precise control and preventing joystick drift over time. This technology ensures accurate movements and enhanced gaming performance.
