3. Setup and Assembly

The OKAI Ranger Electric Bike requires some assembly upon arrival. Follow these steps carefully to ensure proper setup.

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Check for any visible damage during shipping. Contact customer support immediately if damage is found.

3.2 Handlebar Installation

  1. Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring proper alignment.

3.3 Front Wheel and Fender Attachment

3.4 Pedal Installation

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals.
  2. Thread the pedals into the crank arms. The right pedal tightens clockwise, the left pedal tightens counter-clockwise.
  3. Tighten firmly with a wrench.

3.5 Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment

  1. Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube.
  2. Adjust the saddle height to ensure comfortable and safe riding posture. The minimum seat to floor height is 31.3 inches.
  3. Secure the quick-release lever or bolt.

3.6 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert the removable battery into its compartment in the downtube.
  2. Ensure the battery is securely locked in place.
  3. Fully charge the battery before the first ride. Connect the charger to the charging port and a power outlet.

3.7 Basket and Rack Attachment (if applicable)

  1. Attach the front basket to the designated mounting points on the handlebars or front fork.
  2. Secure the rear rack to the frame's rear mounting points.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button on the integrated LCD touchscreen until the display illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button until the display turns off.

4.2 Using the LCD Touchscreen

  • Display Information: View current speed, battery level, assist level, trip distance, and total mileage.
