2. Intended Use
An electric bike is intended for sport and entertainment purposes, not for use as a means of transportation. However, its use in public areas is permitted by local laws and regulations. Driving strictly in accordance with the instructions in this manual is crucial for ensuring the safety of yourself and others, and for compliance with national traffic laws and regulations.
When riding in public areas, be aware of potential risks caused by illegal driving, improper operation by others, or other vehicles. Similar to walking or riding a bicycle, injuries can occur. Faster speeds require longer braking distances, and emergency braking on smooth surfaces can lead to loss of balance or falls. Therefore, vigilance, proper speed, and maintaining a safe distance from others and vehicles are essential. When driving on unfamiliar terrain, stay alert and drive at a low speed.
Respect pedestrians' right of way and avoid frightening them, especially children.
In regions without specific national standards for electric bikes, adhere to the safety requirements in this manual. Zhejiang Okai Vehicle Co., Ltd. is not liable for any financial losses, injuries, legal disputes, or other unfavorable events resulting from violations of these recommendations.
To prevent potential injury, do not lend the electric bike to individuals who cannot operate it. If lending the bike, ensure the borrower is taught proper operation and advised to wear protective equipment.
Perform a basic inspection of the electric bike before each ride. If loose parts, significantly reduced battery life, excessively worn tires, abnormal steering noises, or malfunctions are detected, stop using the bike immediately and do not force it to drive.
